One of the hardest things I have ever done is grieve someone who is still physically alive
Do not get me wrong I am not underestimating the pain of losing someone we love to death. I have buried my beloved father, grieved a few friends who have passed too, early, as well as beloved pets.
However, there is a unique pain in knowing that someone is lost to you because they choose to be.
Death did not take them- they chose to forsake the bond you once had.
It is a unique pain, and it comes with its own challenges.
Most often lack of closure
you move on..start healing process…life continues…happiness and love grow… you’re doing great! ❤️
