She's a girl with a crush,

On a guy she met at camp.

Though they've never spoken before,

Her heart does give a little stamp.

He disrupts her when she's busy on the phone,

Flicking her cap just for fun.

She knows these actions are nothing,

But still she feels her heart beating fast when he's around.

It's been a while since she's dated,

And so she feels a little lost.

She tries to shake the thoughts of him,

But he's the one she wants the most.

She knows these feelings are one-sided,

And so she tries to push them away.

But every time he flicks her cap,

Her heart beats stronger every day.

She dreams of talking to him,

Of getting to know him more.

But she knows he's just a crush,

And so she must ignore.

So she'll continue with her life,

And try to forget this pain.

But she knows deep down inside,

Her heart will always beat

For anyone who’s had suicidal thoughts:

You can’t find the strength in the morning to get out of your bed. You stay hidden under the covers, you like it like that, cause no one will have to see you. You feel nothing, life is a pain. What if you just ended all of your emptiness, it would be so much easier. No one would have to hear your nonsense, you wouldn’t have to hear yourself anymore. You tell yourself these things, do you even realize how much potential you have? You think that things are just going to keep going downhill, but that’s just the pain that is talking. It can’t get any worse than thinking of suicide. We all have no idea what the future holds, to just take your future away from yourself its just so sad. As I said you have all of this potential waiting for you don’t just let it die off. You’re so amazing in a lot of ways it truly breaks my heart to know you don’t see that in yourself. What about them? The person thats waiting for your love, maybe you haven’t met them yet. You can’t just take away this opportunity of finding love and happiness. I was in your position a while back, before I found my love for writing. I felt worthless and tired of living life, I just wanted to disappear I felt like I was going to be depressed my whole life. But then when I created this account and saw how I wasn’t the only one who felt this way, seeing that I can actually be loved and cared by people. You gave me a new perspective realizing that life is so beautiful and deserves to be lived by each and every one of us. You saved my life, now it’s my turn to save yours.
