"A moment of your time!" Emcee catches up to you before you can disperse to your room or rejoin with your teammates, or wherever else it is you're heading off to.
"This way, this way." The strange host ushers you into a small shack, curtained off from the outside. They offer you a chair and a bright lamp hangs overhead.
"Now then," they start, positioning themselves across from you. "You've just been eliminated from the show. What message would you like to pass along to your teammates fighting for victory?"
In their hand is a voice-amplifying stick, which they hold out to you now.
disappointment hung heavy among those who were eliminated, ephraim of course shared the sentiment. not because the games were particularly exciting, or because he had let his team down... no, a failure like this reflected on how much more had had to learn. he was a strong fighter, has been called a brilliant strategist, and yet... he always seems to find himself turning in early. as frustrating as it was, the king had to accept that he still had a long way to go.
as he followed along, spotting a few snakes in the midst, he was pulled aside by one of those things. it's voice rung hollow despite how lively it tried to sound, it was incredibly off-putting to say the least. he's left no choice but to follow it, however, and so he does so without much protest.
inside a small shack, he is seated and being stared down by the one who had brought him here.
now then... you've just been eliminated from the show. what message would you like to pass along to your teammates fighting for victory?
it was an odd question... the team was made up of mostly nobody he knew personally, and yet they wanted words from him? whatever the case, he supposed it was a nice way to boost morale. if those on the losing island haven't given up hope, then neither could they. after a few moment of silence, the king nodded and prepared himself.
"greetings, my fellow snakes," he ushered out at last, in all the confidence and glory he could muster. "we have taken quite the hit, and for that, you have my upmost apologies. because our numbers grow shorter, you'll have to pick up the pace for the rest of us. it's an unfair request, but one i'll have to ask of you anyway."
was that enough, could there still be more...? yes, something he could affirm without doubt. "those of us that have been eliminated have not given up, and neither should you. above all, work hard... and have a good time while doing so."
"ahem... i think that will conclude my message. you have my thanks."
