“Excuse me! Hi, hello. So this is what’s called a lunchtime poll. You win five million dollars in the Publisher’s Sweepstakes, and the same day that what’s-his-face gives you the cheque, aliens land on earth and say they’re going to blow up the world in two days. What are you going to do with the money?”
“I’d get in my spacecraft and fly to another planet. One a little more advanced than Earth. Convert the money into a currency I can use, and rule the worlds. I’d be doing that with or without the money.”
“and this place is called stonefield?” he said, while adjusting his ray-bans. “at least I don’t have to go to school any more, works out for me.. we stilldon’t have to go to school, right?”
“You can do whatever you want. Nobody’s going to force you to attend.”
“And this is for you.”
“Could you describe what that is please?”
“ yes i’m BLUE, yes i look a little different but that doesn’t mean that you’ve got to fucking stare at me and talk under your breath about me as if i’m not a person !! “ laurie nearly yelled at the human who was staring at her and making snide comments at her. “ you think i wanted to be like this ?? that i asked to be given this ability ?? “ laurie’s jaw glenced, seconds away from punching them in the face. “ news flash: not everyone looks the same !! and no: i’m not an alien. “
She was blue. Although she didn’t seem like a Twi’lek or a Pantoran. Kylo almost had forgotten that there were many species here that he’d never been introduced to, many humans with.. changes. He sensed the latter for her. He’d been staring for quite some while too, but fortunately he had made the wise decision of standing a few feet behind her. “Well, I think she’s beautiful.” He remarked, taking several steps towards the scene. He took a glance at the young girl, before turning his narrowing eyes to the other human.
“okay, here’s your order and if you need anything else, let me know.”.
“I don’t think I remember ordering all that.” He replied, but took the order anyway. “I’m not complaining though, I’m starving. How much do I owe you?”
charles smiled – because that’s what he did, the sort of person he was. he appreciated watching people talk and reason with themselves. whatever jean and her friend’s got up to, that was his responsibility now, wasn’t it? because they were his students, even if he didn’t remember acquiring them. “i’ll keep an eye on anyone who considers themselves my student,” he offered, carefully. “mutations aren’t chosen, they don’t go away. from the sound of it, your force, you’ve the option to ignore it. i have to concentrate not to go into people’s minds. so for with people who have dangerous mutations or lesser skill, it can be a hard path. i’m sure mastering your abilities are much work, in ways i’ll never understand.” he thought for a moment. “if you’d like i could show you, just the range. no access to the rest of the parts of my mind, i assume your force allows for telepathy such as that.” more so – charles was positive that in his offer he could push the other man out.
“But you won’t, you don’t care enough to. They aren’t your students. Not in your present.” He spoke like it was a matter-of-fact, becoming reminiscent of his time spent with his forgotten uncle Luke. Perhaps he held some pent up frustration that his master did not keep a proper eye on him during his youth. He let the young Ben Solo be swayed by the dark side, and his old identity perish in a fire he had created. Sensing the power in Jean, Kylo knew that if she were to fall into the wrong hands, that power would be used against her. He’d never met Scott and didn’t much care to, but with someone for lasers as eyes, he assumed the same would happened. Powerful children who could be influenced so easily. Just as he was, and his grandfather before him. “I hope you’re concentrating very hard not to go into my mind.” he said, becoming on edge at the thought of it. He’d always believed that he’d be able to feel someone penetrate his mind - he could with the scavenger from Jakku, but she held the force.. not this mutation. It was almost a worry to him that Charles could see his thoughts, his memories, his desires, his fear, all of it. Kylo decides to look him in the eye. “Why would I want to do that? Seeing inside that head of yours wouldn’t give me any benefit.” Would it? “And I don’t care about the range. I believe you. I believe you have that power, and I believe it’s strong.”
Finnick’s brow raised, utterly surprised that Kylo Ren actually had maintained a relationship with outside of his own ego. He wanted to question him, find out all the glory details. But he knew break-ups could be hard, and with going through a similar situation himself, he thought he’d be best not to make this day even more saddening. “I’m sorry to hear. Hopefully today can take your mind off things.” He replied. “You don’t know what bowling is? My god…” His eyes widened, before he chuckled with a smile. “I’ll teach you. Good choice, Mr. Darkside.”
“Don’t be sorry, it was nothing. It is nothing.” It was the truth. Kylo Ren had voluntarily chosen to break off any sort of arrangement he’d held with the one known as a mutant. To protect her, to protect him, but more importantly not to destroy the innocence that he could still feel inside of her. He cared. He must have, at least a little bit to be that concerned. His wicked ways and the darkness that had penetrated his soul - he couldn’t let her be another vessel. “Mr. Darkside?” His brow rose, in slight amusement and yet displeasure. He was happy to be acknowledged as someone from the darkside, but he hoped the nickname wouldn’t stick. “Fine. Mr. Fisherman, take me bowling.”
“Maybe we can get along more than you thought,” he huffed - his voice low and husky. It was a lie, of course. Bellamy had only ever loved two people in his life - his sister and his mother. “Even if you’re lying,” he quickly added - his defensive dimeanor still evident. When Clarke’s name came out of his mouth, his jaw tightened. “I’m not in love with her,” he hissed - his mind swarming with if he was telling a lie again or not.
“I don’t think that’s an option.” He spoke with a coldness to his voice. He despised the man in front of him - perhaps because of his clear leadership qualities, and his confidence to confront an enemy as threatening as Kylo Ren. Despite what some might say or argue about the validity of that statement. “If you’re not in love with Clarke Griffin, then I’m not in love with Jean Grey.” He could end all this, with just a flick of a hand. Destroy any thoughts in this man’s head that were linked between himself and Jean. He could have made them appear to be strangers. He’d questioned himself later on why he didn’t use that route.
“Gee, you all sure are WARM with your introductions. But, you are the first person to actually tell me where I’m at, so that’s something. Where’s Stonefield, exactly ??”
“I try my hardest. Apparently it’s in a place called England.”
“’m sorry, I was standin’ ‘ere before ya got ‘ere so, don’t you have anythin’ better ta do?”
“No, I believe I was standing here before you got here. Don’t you have anything better to do?”

❛ being out of the rubber room & degrassi is great,but being in this place is totally weird. i’m pretty sure i felt ( some ) unknown presence following me around this morning when i was trying to find my footing. do you think they can fly zak bagans out here for free ?? just for some piece of mind. ❜
“I have no idea what you just said. I don’t care either, but I take it you’re new here. Welcome to Stonefield.”
{ @ohwhereodair and continued from here }
“No. I broke up with the woman I - cared deeply for today, which means my schedule is now cleared up for this wretched day.” His choice of words did not convey the whole truth. In a way he’d supposed he had broken up with the mutant. It definitely felt like his heart had been broken into two. “I don’t know what bowling is.” And he didn’t care to find out, although fishing didn’t sound much of an appealing option either. “I guess, bowling. Whatever that is.”
{ @mechanicxreyes and continued from here }
“I highly doubt that.” He replied, although he was aware of their complete stranger status. She couldn’t be afraid of someone she’d never met, and propaganda of the First Order didn’t seem to be plastered along the streets of Stonefield. He shifted, fixing his posture, as he was released from her grip. “Why?” He was curious.
your sister is here
“I don’t have a sister though.”
