Jyn would also stand up . “follow me too my room.” she would lead the way to her room, she looks over at her. “well i don’t want anyone to die on my watch but thank you.”

violet didn’t say anything at first, instead she simply nodded before proceeding to follow jyn. “yeah.. i don’t think any of us want it to end that way. you’re welcome.” she responded, looking around with curious eyes.

Jyn would arrive at her room with Violet, she walks over to sit down on her bed. “here we are, you can make us a drink and for your massage. you might have to take off your clothes.”

she looks at the woman with a smile. “I did not just do it for me but it had to be done, i was not gonna let anyone die, so would you like to go for a drink?”

Jyn smiles a little and hears what Violet said to her as she looks back at her. “we can go back to my room to have a drink and i can give you that massage.” she said to her. “I am making sure that we are prepared and yes we are built on hope.”

“oh? okay..” violet stood up, looking down to jyn. “i’m following your lead. i don’t know where you room is.” she chuckled, taking another few steps back. “well if there’s anyone to have us prepared it would be you..considering our last mission.”

“yes by all means.” Jyn watches Violet sit down, she loos at her seeing that she is shy, Jyn would Liston to what she said. “look i do understand what you are saying, i am with you about the whole when are we gonna fight again but it seems like you can use a drink or a massage.” she would move closer to her. “we are gonna be prepared for what comes next.”

violet laughed a bit, raising an eyebrow and finally looking at jyn–especially after she moved closer. “maybe both.” she admitted, nose scrunching up. “can’t remember the last time i had..a drink.” her thoughts roamed for a second, ultimately coming back to reality after hearing jyn’s words again. “i hope so. rebellion’s are built on hope after all, no?” she quoted jyn’s infamous phrase.

Jyn smiles a little and hears what Violet said to her as she looks back at her. “we can go back to my room to have a drink and i can give you that massage.” she said to her. “I am making sure that we are prepared and yes we are built on hope.”

“It looked something was wrong, How are you doing?” Jyn said.

Jyn did not want violet to keep anything inside, so it was good to talk about things. “yes i am very sure.” she looks at her. “things to make sure the ship is in order.”

“okay.. well, may i?” violet motioned to the empty space next to jyn before taking a seat herself. however, she never turned towards the other or even looked her direction–feeling somewhat shy about sharing her thoughts. “i feel like i can never sleep because i don’t know what’s coming next. what the future is going to hold. when we’re going to fight again.” she exhaled a breath, her leg bouncing out of a nervous habit. “i just want to be prepared is all.”

“would you like to talk about it?” Jyn asked her. “i do agree the night time is so much better and very peaceful.” She just like the night time better. “i was doing things around the ship.”

violet unexpectedly perked up at jyn’s question. all of her thoughts had been bottled up this entire time, it would be nice to talk about them. “are you sure?” she took a few steps closer, looking at the empty space next to jyn for a moment. “what kind of things?”

Jyn did not want violet to keep anything inside, so it was good to talk about things. “yes i am very sure.” she looks at her. “things to make sure the ship is in order.”

“it’s good to see nothing is wrong.” she looks at the woman come towards her.  “maybe i do have the tapes, what’s it to you?

“If I were, I wouldn’t be able to hear you in the first place and what cause would that be? There’s no cause great enough for me to fix something for free.”

Jyn looks at the girl, wondering why she also could not sleep. it his been one of those nights, where she would just stay up all night. “yes it is one of those night and why can’t you sleep?”” she asked her.

“a lot on my mind, i guess.” violet shrugged, it was a vague but true answer. “i like the nighttime better as well.” she found it to be peaceful, even though she had to be on her guard no matter what. “why can’t you sleep?”

Jyn was sitting down taking a rest from working so much, she could not really sleep much right know, when she see a girl say something to her. “no i can’t sleep.”

the simple response made violet nod, followed by clearing her throat. she would recognize jyn erso anywhere, especially considering the recent events. “yep…just one of those nights, i suppose.” violet finally responded, chewing on the inside of her bottom lip.

“Fantastic,” she quipped, tossing away the deemed junk, “I like you your decisiveness.”

“You’re not going to pay me? Then why would I help you..”

“Depends.. How much will you pay me?”

Jyn was walking around the ship to make sure that everything was in order so nothing goes wrong if they need to back into battle, once she sees that nothing is wrong, she heads to her room when she sees someone. “um hello is something wrong?”

Jyn looks and shakes her head at the guy, she sees him stand there.  “you are just gonna stand there or help me?” there was a reason why she did things they way she did. “I am working on to make sure we don’t die.”

“Well, that seems to be a bit dramatic, but sure.. How can I help you?”

“can you go check somethings around the ship to make sure everything is in order?”

this was just part of the long nightly routine violet had. when she couldn’t sleep, the rebel soldier would get up and patrol the corridors. even if it wasn’t technically her job, violet found some type of comfort in doing so. she walked onto one of the aircrafts, making sure every weapon was still in it’s rightful place. as she walked off, violet noticed a figure in the distance. “can’t sleep, either?” she inquired.
