Okay so I would love to be both a writer and voice actor so this is a piece I wrote detailing Joker RIGHT after coming up out of the water of the ACE chemical factory. I've performed it live twice now (having to read out the stage directions seeing as I was just doing the voice not "performing" it) but now I can post the script to follow along to. Hope you enjoy it ^_^.
Red Hood: Coming up out of the river outside The ACE chemical factory. He’s confused and stumbling over himself. Oh God. What happened? My head. What happened in there? The last thing I remember is…Batman’s image flashes before Hood’s eyes Batman. That cowardly fiend! A slight chuckled escapes his lips Oh God? What was that? He stumbles but starts to walk back to Gotham, falling flat on his face. Getting up I feel…funny. It’s another chuckle weird. This isn’t right, I don’t feel good! His mind has started becoming destroyed by this point, he starts sobbing.
Between sobs What happened to me!? I remember the vat, I…I fell in. I should…should be dead s-shouldn’t I? He did this to me! Growls Batman! He didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself that villain! He slams his fist against a wall only to realize that under his cuffs his skin is…white? His eyes go wide as he stumbles back and rips his glove from his hand to show the bleached white skin beneath. At once he tries rubbing it off, hoping that it’s just some residue from the chemicals but it won’t come off. I need a mirror! I need a mirror now! He searches around frantically before returning to the water he swam out of. The helmet of the Red Hood was still on his face. Dare I look at what’s beneath? Who knows what type of monster I’ve become? Hesitantly he removes the helmet and recoils back, terrified of his own reflection What has he done to me! Chuckles follow as he talks now, randomly breaking in that glorified rat! Who does he think he is? Ruining lives! He wanted me dead! But…yet…no. He breaks into a series of chuckles, ranging from long to short and loud to soft. I can’t be mad at him. He made me, hahaha. This world is a joke, villains paraded as heroes. The worst man as cops. Hahahahaha. How, how can I be mad that he showed me all this? That he, showed me the funny side of things? Hahahahaha…he helped me to see the world as it is. The cruel, twisted joke it is. Overcome by it all Red Hood, now Joker, starts to sob. That sob starts turning into a laugh, which turned into a cackle. Oh Batman! You don’t know what you’ve done! Thank you Rat! Thank you so much! You’ve saved me Bats! You’ve shown me who I really am!
