a rushed tone and a swift treck as snow crunches underneath her boots, she spots a familiar but… not so familiar device in a stranger’s hands.

“ is that first one’s tech? how did you get that? “ she’s a little more up close and personal now, scanning over both the stranger and the device “ it looks SUPER cool. you sure you should have it out in a place like this? it could freeze up. “ before she dives into 1,000,001 questions Adora is quick to check herself, taking a few paces back and looking rather sheepish compared to a few seconds ago.

“ sorry I got a little carried away there. I’m Adora and I have a bit of First One’s tech myself - “ gesturing to the sword hilted on her back “ but it doesn’t seem to be working here … weird. “

a thought said aloud before Adora is quick to leap into action, brows furrowed and ready to fight, her voice grows louder and her pace grows quicker.

“ I know exactly what one of those is. “ she points directly to the stranger’s riding crop and it only makes Adora tense up more. “ if you’re here to beat up some horses then you’re gonna have to get through me first ! “ and with that, her sword is unsheathed and she is Ready to throw hands.

Adora is quick to squat down, meeting eye level with the smaller girl. Adora herself seems to have this innate need to help people, especially those smaller and younger. “ it’s pretty chilly out here, are you lost? “ perhaps she’s taking prejudice in regards to age, how did this child even get out here?

and of course ... she totally wasn’t lost herself.

“ you can call me Adora! i’ll be your uhhh. Guide! Yeah. I’ll be your guide today if you’d allow me the honor, my lady. “

is that a form of greeting? she heard Bow say it plenty of times ... it seemed pretty cool anyway. and given the stranger she was saying it to, she needed to pull out all the cool stops.

“ so we’re roommates huh? do you have any preference for which bunk you want? i’m kind of a bottom myself. “ she stretches out, finally setting her Sword of Protection down. “ oh! I’m Adora, by the way. hopefully, things go smoothly whilst we’re here but if you need a hand with anything just let me know, it’s kinda my job ahaha...”

there was a lot to take in with this place, for such an icy barren tundra it possessed a certain ... charm to it. it was enough to make anyone pause for thought, even Adora, who didn’t seem to usually have an ‘off’ button.

“ uh ... pretty cold huh? “ she approaches a stranger, it’s better than being alone, who seems to be pretty lost in thought ... or is she actually frozen?!

“ oh. gosh. sorry! if i was disturbing you. you seemed pretty stiff so i thought maybe ... you were frozen ... a little. yeah it sounds stupid when I say it aloud.”

certainly feeling the cold herself, however, Adora folds her arms in a tight manner - conserving a bit of body heat whilst she glances up and down at the stranger.
