Honestly, I know he was trying to make it funny and everything, but I was like, this is now tipping to like Family Guy territory, where I was like, this is so uncomfortably awful and all the tongue stuff. Where then she's like, the only person you're turning on but genuinely doing a good job of doing is yourself. I can see that you're getting yourself in a mess. -Hannah

And he turns around because he clearly has a boner. -Lamorne

I just want you to know the notes that we have on this episode, says Nick ends up just turning himself on and then has to waddle away, because he has a boner. That is how that is written as a description of the scene. -Hannah

Alright, so then there's this super sexy moment between Nick and Jess, right? Where she has gone in now with a plan, a little manipulative plan where she's like, I'm gonna flip this. -Hannah

It's going to be my sex tap. But I would have to do is make him take the bait. And she does a brilliant job. The Paula Abdul dance is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. And the fact that it works on him is wild. They both, I realize after seeing his Bulls dance and then her do the aula Abdul dance, I'm like, you guys are made for each other because these are the weirdest ways to get somebody's, you know, motor going. -Hannah

there are a lot of Nick and Jess moments that deserve to be talked about of course, but i think one that doesn't get talked about enough is in LITERALLY THE SECOND EPISODE when they're confronting Jess's ex Spencer and they're all wearing those dorky hats and Jess is monologuing and she says "and I love these guys" and the camera, for half a second, cuts to Nick, who glances at Jess and swallows. this is a Mr. Darcy hand flex moment to me.

So then they go to the hospital. She doesn't have rabies, but she does have giardia and Legionnaire's disease. And her foot's been saved. Wild, wild thing to say...It's a very sweet though, end to a Thanksgiving episode because in the most New Girl of ways, everyone is together. They're laughing, they've created this core memory. They are eating the food and Jess kind of, you know, gets what she wants a little bit. And Nick learns a lesson and they kind of have bonded their relationship. -Hannah

And then I honestly one of the just like the best moments, like the best moments I feel like between the Nick and Jess relationship where she just like, you know, like lets it all like spill out. It's not making a lot of sense, but she's just like, this is what really happened, and I know this looks terrible and I can't imagine how you feel right now, and she's just like spiraling. She's like, I just really wish you would believe me, and expecting him to like rip into her because it looks terrible. There's a naked man in your bed, like for real, and he just says, I believe you, and then just like has her back, and it's just like you gotta go, and it was. It's as powerful, I feel like, of a of what most of women want in a relationship representation of that as was the cooler kiss. -Hannah

It was just such a like I got you, I know you, don't worry about it, and I'm gonna take this without like putting her on trial. Such a loving, romantic, powerful moment in this series. -Hannah

Anyway, this is, this is, this is again back to depressed Schmidt, which I, I could watch, I could probably watch an entire season of this of like just a really depressed Max Greenfield and all the shenanigans that he, all the bits that he would do. -Lamorne

Okay. So now some great costumes. As always. The show loved a pun when it came to the costumes on New Girl Joey Ramona Quimby. Great costume. And she looked hella cute. -Hannah

He's a paper mountain trash king. -Lamorne 

Just, just to make up. When you know, people go like, what are you, when you look at yourself and you, you didn't really fully do it. You gotta give yourself a title to make it seem like you did something. That's Nick. -Hannah
