// FATEDEPICTION.
“Where I came from- what my home is like,” she repeated back, trying to decide which one to tell Lyn about,”Back there…I have three homes; Nohr that raised me, Hoshido who my mother had resided with, and then Valla..the kingdom I rebuilt in the name of my family,” they began,”I never got to see too much of Nohr or Hoshido, but the people in both helped me become who I am,”
“Nohr rarely saw sunlight, while Hoshido is bathed in it,” practically blinding,”Valla uses land from both, and is most befitting for us,”
As they continued to watch the wildlife, something so simple to most (and especially Lyndis who roamed the plains all her life), her sense of wonder did not wain,”We were kept inside a secluded fortress most of our early life, so unfortunately most of my tales come from those closest to me,” bragging about the lands theirself is difficult from lack of experience, but the people within them— they could go on forever.
“And you, Lyndis? Would you mind telling me about yours?” her endless fascination did not stop because of the local fauna- Lyn had displayed such grace and beauty in their fight against the monsters not too long ago. Not to mention her looks, everything about her is striking. Corrin wanted to know so much about her, and of course would be willing to share more of their own tales too.
LYN did her best to follow along, attempting to visualize all three lands in her mind; it was quite a lot to take in at once, although she supposed her situation wasn’t terribly cut-and-dry either. Her frown deepens at the thought of someone as cheerful as them cooped up in a dark, dreary fortress most of their life --- the very thought had her stretching out her legs, breathing the fresh air in a bit more deeply.
❛ ‘A secluded fortress’ ... ? That sounds horrible. I can’t even imagine what that must have been like... My people were nomads --- Mother Earth was their home. We would wander throughout the plains for the most part, tall grass bowing in the wind as far as the eye can see. We would carry our homes with us; giant tents, ‘yurts’. Everyone would hunt and cook food to share with each other, share stories, dance... It was warm and peaceful, aside from bandit raids. ❜ Her voice drops somewhat, trailing mid-sentence as her eyes flit towards the ground. Just talking about it made her heart ache, but at the same time, it felt good to spread the culture of her people.
