Welcome to the beginning of my bot journey. Up until now, I've only attempted to make bots a few times. I tried a few different platforms, and a different version of this bot was hosted on Figgs.ai a few weeks before it shut down. I wish I had found that platform sooner.
Polybuzz.ai is my new home. This bot has been tested by me and some friends and is now live. I've made some improvements from the Figgs.ai version that I am really happy with.
I'm Extremely pleased with how well this bot handles multiple characters in a conversation. Check out Chat Sample #1 at the top of this post to see for yourself.
In this version I included an OC from one of my other Chats. Carl the Radio Spider is a shadow minion that Alastor conjured to scare my character, but she adopted him instead. She built him a home in her window, and he helped her understand Alastor. He also helps Alastor out with his station and DJ's when Alastor can't be on the air.
My Character is not in this bot I wrote her out of it by saying that she was redeemed but Carl still lives in the room they shared, and your character can even have that room and adopt Carl themselves if you find you're fond of carl or you can ignore him completely if you're not and have an adventure that focuses mostly on the main cast.
I had a lot of friends request a Carl bot when they heard about him but the better solution was just to write Carl into the Alastor bot and let people do what they will.
