I struggle to describe their dynamic. They're just intriguing to me.
I feel like the biggest part of their dynamic is Sombra ragebaiting PJ at every possible opportunity and it working like. 99% of the time. Sombra likes making her mad. She thinks it's funny.
PJ is so interesting to Sombra in general, she's drawn to him in a way she can't really explain for a long time. It's like she wants to put him under a microscope and study him, see what makes him tick. She likes finding out what kind of reactions she can get out of him with the stupid shit she does.
I think her favorite thing is finding ways to make PJ flustered. Before either of them has really realized their feelings, it's pretty difficult to make PJ flustered. He's oblivious and can't tell when someone is flirting with him most of the time. And even when he can tell, he usually shrugs it off as the person having bad taste LMAO
And with Sombra she also just. Flirts with everyone. So PJ really doesn't think much of it.
But those few times where Sombra is able to make him flustered early on are highkey everything to her and she is determined to see blushing PJ as much as possible. It's definitely a lot easier in situations where they're together, cause now PJ knows that she actually Means what she's saying, and unfortunately, she is incredibly smooth with her words and is good at pushing PJ's buttons so it's generally extremely effective.
PJ will get flustered and try to hide his face in his scarf and Sombra will pull the scarf away and take PJ's face in her hands so she can see him blush, and it only makes him more flustered.
Have a uhhhh Sombra and Raven centered headcanon. For funzies.
I don't think Sombra visits Reaper often. Life a Little bit more, but she feels weirdly Guilty when she visits Life. Like she doesn't deserve Life's kindness. So generally she just doesn't see that side of her family much, at least for a while.
I don't think she meets Raven until he's at least a toddler. Both Reaper and Life try to get in contact with her but she's very avoidant. Simultaneously scared of getting attached and struggling to feel Worthy of being a big sister.
But then she visits and sees this tiny wide-eyed kid and she just. Can't make herself leave. She can manage visiting Reaper more often for him. For Raven's sake. She will never tell him that though.
She's still gonna mess with him it's her job as his big sister but she loves him Okay that's her little guy
I think her realizing she's a lesbian was like the easiest thing ever. She's never been interested in men even remotely LMAO

For their personalities,,, I had to think hard on this one I am so bad at describing characters' personalities </3
Sombra is very mischievous, I imagine her going out of her way to Bother people constantly just because she thinks it's funny. Her one goal in life is to get on everybody's nerves and she's very good at it. I also imagine her as kind of Suave but also Lame at the same time. She's good with her words but her antics can often contradict the smoothness with which she says things.
Lux is very Soft to me. She's genuinely quite sweet and loving, but she also gets caught up in her head a lot about not being Enough of these things. I think she feels a lot of pressure to be like her parents, even if it's not a pressure that's been imposed by them, at least not intentionally. But I see her as thinking and doing things that seemingly contrast her parents' behavior and her Really beating herself up for it.
Both Sombra and Lux read as not being very confident to me, they just go about it in completely opposite ways.
Sombra hides her lack of confidence behind humor and purposely pushes people away, hardly ever expressing her true feelings in any way that couldn't be easily played off as a joke.
Whilst Lux constantly tries to push herself to be what she Believes everyone expects of her. She hides her feelings behind the image of perfection she wants to portray.
I think I imagine Lux as a mix of both UTMV canon and Principal Lux canon. We don't see much of adult Lux from when she belonged to Jakei, but from what we do see we can gather that she's a bit Weird. She deserves to be a bit unsettling. As a treat. Though I imagine that most of her life she doesn't really allow herself to be that way. I think she got a lot of comparisons to Nightmare as a kid which led to a lot of the pressure she put on herself to be Someone Else.

For magical abilities...
For Sombra, I have ruminated on what I have imagined her powers to be like. If I remember correctly, her abilities are only ever mentioned Once in official text, and very vaguely. It's stated that she collects souls, but it's not really expanded upon on what that really Means.
I think she has a pretty healthy balance of magical capabilities taken from both Fell and Reaper. @shipchild once drew her summoning bones with her magic like Sans can, and I really enjoy that idea. Inspired by that same image, I think she can summon chains that she can use to hold someone in place/tether them to the ground.
I think she can also sense when someone is about to die, all over the universe. Just kind of an instinctual Knowing that she has no control over. If she focuses on the feeling she can envision the place the person is at and teleport there. I don't think she realizes this aspect for Awhile though... I imagine she grew up mostly in Underfell, and her connection to the multiverse wasn't really established until she left. At most Fell would wake up to her as a kid having seemingly disappeared and eventually find her halfway across the Underground with dust at her feet but no increased LV. I have more thoughts about this but this is already long enough as is LMAO
For the actual soul collecting aspect, I think she has the same ability as Reaper to send someone to the Underworld tbh. She can reap souls the same way he does with her own scythe.
Oh and I think she can float
I think if she weren't a reaper she'd be a seamstress :]] I think she becomes one wayyyy in the future when she's no longer quite as worried about spiting her dad and being a reaper for the sole purpose of stressing him out.
For Lux, I don't have toooo many ideas on her magical abilities. I think her magic overall is very unstable, and given that her body is more a Vessel than something that is Her Own, I think she very much could destroy her skeletal structure in a dire enough situation. She kind of Has to keep herself calm most of the time because any flare-up of negative enough emotions could put severe strain on her body. Raven parallels if you squint.
I thinkkkk @shynetyme06 should talk more about her thoughts on Lux's abilities when her design for her is done, cause I agree with and share a lot of her headcanons.
Okay and finally, a couple of my favorite headcanons for them.
My favorite headcanon for Sombra is that she's a vampire of sorts, needing to feed off of souls to live. This impacts a lot of the things I mentioned above, and can definitely be a concept I expand upon in a later post, but for this, I mostly wanted to keep things canon adjacent.
And my favorite Lux headcanon... hmmmmm. I think that she's a hopeless romantic. I like the concept a lot. Especially if you consider her to be some sort of aroace like I do.

Something funny about how I imagine Sombra's dynamic with the Underfell skeleton brothers is that I think Sans, as her dad, would be more of a 'fun uncle' type (Grunkle Stan vibes) whilst I envision Papyrus, her actual uncle, being more of the typical (reasonbly) strict dad type.
Would Raven, Lux, Shino, PJ, Sombra (etc.?) enjoy playing VR together? maybe even going to public worlds to troll people
Raven would get dizzy, Shino doesnāt.. care, Sombra would enjoy the trolling, Lux gets Sombra out of trouble and I donāt think PJ knows what a Ve Err is
