Supernatural Ending

They manage to solve the Big Problem of the season without creating another one. However, in doing so, Sam and Dean are fatally injured and unable to be healed. Dean lies in Cas’s arms as the three share a touching last moment. Cas keeps himself together until he senses the Winchesters’ souls leaving their bodies, then he begins to sob. He presses his forehead again Dean’s “I love you.” He kneels on the ground, crying. He begs The Empty to take him but he knows it won’t. It said it would only take him when he finally allows himself to be happy. He’ll never be happy again.
