I’ve been reading fan fiction for YEARS, I’m such a picky reader that I’ll deep dive ao3 & wattpad for like an hour just to find that perfect fit.

I started writing Basement Show after I got back into SDV and was frustrated with the lack of sam x reader fics! I also really like reading college au’s - or au’s in general - and haven’t found any SDV ones (if anyone knows any lmk👀).. so I was like: fuck it I’ll do it myself!! I think two of my main inspirations for Basement Show have to be Parasite by Yagamisdiary on ao3 (AOT frat boy Erin x F!Reader😛) and Tiger Eye by Meepmoop2002 on ao3 (Sam x F!OC) so shout out to them, give them some love!

Music also really inspired me! My favorite pastime is daydreaming & looking for new songs. Going to actual basement shows when I was in college helped too 😅 . I usually like to make up stories in my head while listening to music and I’ve had this one for a while. I’m planning on writing more out with different characters in the future!

Work has been so cool !! I love my new job sm! It’s been a really great experience so far. I really miss writing this fic, but I’m working on a new chapter so hopefully it’ll be ready to post later this week! Yayyy

My hours have been so fucking draining but it’s SO worth it
