I did the thing! An oddly uplifting experience getting vaccinated for Covid-19 on a cold morning in my car, in a parking garage. I know I just had the rona so my body is creating some natural immunity, but I still felt it was worth getting, given we don’t know how long antibodies last and if I’m even creating strong immunity. I believe it’s worth the risk to get the vaccine when it’s available to you. My first round of Covid was not enjoyable and I never want a second round, and I’m so tired of seeing people suffer day in and day out. I’m tired of worrying about bringing this nonsense home to my family. I’m tired of so much. Couldn’t stand being in the house this morning. Went on a hike, which when searching said it was easy (‘twas not). I want to like hiking, but it just doesn’t seem to like me, I struggled on the way back.
