And when she is alone and her heart is shattered, and when winter has finally come... Will she long to hear voice? Because I will be long gone...
HAHA. Oh what the fuck. How unfortunate. My life is becoming a goddamn joke. I can't fucking believe it.
A change of pace could really do some good.
I'm at the point where I've got no clue if I'm up or down. Everything is so close to happening. But in saying that, nothing is actually happening. And you playing with my head, and my heart, is the last thing I fuckin' need. "Worked so hard to find my way, faced my fears and enemies. Lost some friends but nothing gets me down. Learned a lot from all my tears, fought the good, fought all these years. You should know that nothing stops me now."
The Life & Death of Asyra
Recently, for some reason, Iāve gotten a lot of questions about my former band āAsyraā. Whether at a party or at shows, thereās been a few people that have only just found out about the band and listened to the material... And heard the āinfamousā falling out story. I donāt often use Tumblr anymore but this post didnāt seem appropriate for Facebook; also nobody cares about me so I wonāt feel bad if people donāt pay attention to it this way.
No bullshit, straight to the point - Asyra dissolved into nothing due to a falling out between Jaymee and myself. Nobody really knows the full story, as there are two sides to the coin and Iām not writing this to weigh in on the negativity that was surrounding the band in itās last months. Besides, Iām over it now, and weāve all grown up. Now, after playing for some other bands over more recent times, Iāve gained so much knowledge from both Dark Relic and Pyromance, but itās only recently that Iāve really realised how much Asyra helped not only myself, but everybody that was involved in the band. Asyra was my first real band, I formed it with Jaymee, I gave it itās name, I played my first show at 14 years old with that band and I was there from day one to day end. Playing in that band taught me, all of us, so much. Asyra gave us the opportunity to learn what to do and what not to do. We learned how to perform. How to function as a unit and how to do want we had always wanted to do... Which was play in a Rock N Roll band with a unique and kickass sound. Without a doubt, Asyra was a high school band, without-a-fucking-doubt. But unlike the majority of high school bands, Asyra served itās purpose; which was to teach us, help us do and figure out the exact things I previously mentioned. I donāt think the band was destined to be something great to anyone but Nathan, Jaymee, Cameron, (possibly) Ryan, and myself. I donāt believe the band had a future that was supposed to be inspiring or anything of the sort; Asyra was there to teach itās members what do to and what not to do, who was going to be there for us and who wasn't... The band was there to help us find our own ways, and honestly I wouldnāt have it any other way. At the end of the day, Asyra gave me some of the best times of my life, and I wouldnāt change it for anything.
