I did cross the bridge again to pick up an AC unit because even if it's supposed to cool down tonight I really need to have one ready for the next heat wave, and just because I can go without one for a while doesn't mean I should

#i don't have time to go over and back before work today #i mean maybe i could go over there but i wouldn't have time to go back home to install it #but i guess setting it up after work and waiting a little bit for the house to cool is better than it not cooling off at all so #hm #... oh wait im not sure if this will even fit my old narrow windows #they're Exactly the minimum width but the layers of paint #(not only did the previous owners not scrape them they literally painted all the windows shut)#with such a tight fit in old windows that might not work

Tomorrow will literally be the first day I've had to myself in... 5 weeks now?! (Work, then a 2 week trip out of the country, then I spent an extra night at my parents' house rather than have a day at home before going back to work, then my grandparents visited for a week so they were here on my day off...)

What do I even do with One Whole Day By Myself? Beach, obviously, it's going to be HOT (and I don't have AC oops I should probably pick up a window unit). But I have so many choices of Beach. Could go to one of the ones right in town but ehh, I'm thinking I want a day trip across the bridge somewhere. I see it daily and somehow haven't crossed since last summer?

#i did have today off too but had visitors. again.#parents drove my bird coop up here finally! yay!#it had been damaged and repaired before and it's really old #so it did not take being loaded and unloaded well at all #going to have to do some more repairs later #but nothing i haven't fixed before. and even as it is its still more secure than the cages ive had the quail in so i put them in anyway

Some notable differences in wedding customs for sure! I had no idea what to expect (I love him we've known each other our whole lives but the groom is Not the best at explaining these things ha) and there were a few miscommunications but that was fun!
