“one does not just accidentally -- you know what? the less i know the better, wouldn’t you agree?” he sighs with a shake of his head at her antics. sufficiently annoyed at the idea of some guy putting his hands on rose he pushed her finger away. “yo -- stop -- where is he? i’m serious i’ll break his face.” caleb starts look around for the guy, probably some dude nursing his hand if she was telling the truth.

for some reason, tears brimmed in her eyes after hearing him. they had been together for awhile now but the way their relationship went, they joked around with each other more than anything. his compliments were genuine and this time, it really got to her. she brought a hand up to his cheek as she leaned up to kiss him softly. “thank you,” she smiled up at him, then went outside. “alright! as long as you promise to get it taken care soon!”

He tried to see life with a lighthearted view, negativity didn’t sit well with the football star and sometimes it backfired, sometimes people didn’t take him seriously. It made sense, former frat boy pro baller who fist pumped un-ironically to dubstep at any given moment. People only knew Weston meant business when he had that jersey on. Except he didn’t feel like with Bora, they laughed together, they partied together but he also felt like he could be serious around her and know she doesn’t consider him a joke. “Well I have the whole month of July to get it done, I’m not due in Colorado until the end of the month if I do it super soon I think I could get it done because you know, all important things take extra unneeded time,” he pouted, “I’ll have to go back to get it down so we can make it a trip of you want. Still gotta take you to Wendy’s I wanna drive my baby around town and show you off to all the stoners and rock climbers.” He walked over the car and opened the driver’s side door for her. “If you get a little tip tip at this fancy party I’ll still drive I’m careful enough.”

she had made it to the kitchen and found herself hand deep in a box of cheezits when he called out. he must have missed her when he walked by, but that was just better for her. her eyes widened though as she freaked out and shuffled around to put them back where they were. “okay!” she replied to the best of her abilities, though her mouth was full. she wiped away the crumbs from the counter and her own dress, then ran back to the bedroom to get her purse before heading over to him. “alrighty, let’s go! the sooner we get there, the sooner we can get back home.”

he was too nervous to notice if she sounded out of the norm. weston was a pretty fearless man, this was the same guy who sang taylor swift sober at karaoke just because someone dared him to. he could walk out onto a field and risk his life on a weekly basis but the idea of fucking up in front of his girlfriend’s parents terrified him to pieces. “you look beautiful,” he complimented again as he opened the door. “you drive, my license expired last week.”
