It’s almost midnight and i’m bored, so i figured i’d make a post about me and my interests and stuff

age: i’m a minor highkey

pronouns: i mean I use he/him but that’s more just because it’s what i’m used to in real life, i genuinely could not care less what anyone calls me, pronouns are just words used to refer to people in conversations much like names and i think the fact that they are so closely tied with gender in our society is annoying

Playing music (i love instruments, especially woodwinds, and i’m able to play piano and guitar somewhat (in addition to being able to play basically every commonplace woodwind))

OC DYNAMICS MONTH 2026

Welcome all OC enthusiasts! This entire August 2026 will be all about your OCs, or more specifically, the dynamics between them. Post your writing, art, or whichever medium you choose on Tumblr with the hashtag #ocdynamicsmonth26 and make sure to show some love to other participants as well! Your posts will be reblogged to this blog.

My asks are open for any questions & comments you might have! Please read the rules and prompt guide first!♡

Rules:

Original characters only! Fandom OCs are fine, but the characters within the dynamic must be OCs.

Make something (writing, visual art, some other creation) with a given prompt, then post it on Tumblr during OC Dynamics Month and use the hashtag #ocdynamicsmonth26. Interpret the prompts freely and include as many OCs within the dynamic as you wish!

You can post your work late, for example you can post your creation for Day 1 on Day 15 if you want! All I ask is that you don't post them early.

There are no strict rules for what content is allowed. However, I may choose not to reblog something if I feel that it goes against the spirit of the event (AI generated content, hateful content etc). Including content warnings for heavy topics is encouraged!

Prompt guide

Each main prompt contains a type of relationship and an adjective. You can fill a day's prompt in one of 3 ways (using the first prompt as an example): 1. use only the type of relationship → make a piece about ex-friends, 2. use only the adjective → make a piece about ocs with a powerful dynamic OR 3. use both → make a piece about ex-friends who have a powerful dynamic. 

This year, the bonus prompts are dialogue prompts. You can combine or swap them with main prompts or just do them in addition to the main prompts! You can use the exact wording, tweak it to fit your piece, or simply use the dialogue to inspire your work without using it directly.

just had the last session of a year (?) long d&d campaign !!

my character was the only party member to survive because the final fight pitted half the party against the other half. which was really cool but also a bit frustrating because as much as I wanted to ‘win’ I also didn’t want everyone else to lose.

anyway I did 282 damage in one turn and used a bunch of metamagic to cast way more high-level spells than I realistically should have been able to. the session was 4 hours of just fights it was awesome

Mary, Clark, and the sketch for the drawing. Their relationship, intentionally or not, is so compelling I have to reiterate, and I hope this drawing really shows that thought of mine.

I don’t think words or imagery or anything at all can ever fully convey how amazing of Montreal is. truly one of the greatest bands out there.

I’ve been listening to the album Innocence Reaches a lot these past few days, and I wasn’t originally expecting much because most people don’t talk very highly about it, but it’s really amazing. If it weren’t for a few songs on it I would probably consider it in like. the top 3 of their album. there are so many good songs especially:

just saw of Montreal live at my first ever real concert a few hours ago. That was absolutely awesome

They played so many niche ones that they barely ever played until this tour (aside from their albums’ respective tours) like Empyrean Abattoir, Triumph of Disintigration, Nonpareil of Favor, they even played Sleeping in the Beetle Bug from cherry peel which is absolutely insane.

Also the aethermead songs are awesome, Take the Form is one of my favorite oM songs of all time now.

this album (aldhils arboretum) along with the albums immediately preceding (coquelicot) and succeeding it (satanic panic) bring me so much comfort but I try not to listen to them that much out of fear of death of the listener or whatever…

very 60s psychedelic ish and also just awesome. 10/10 would recommend if you are dying in ways other than the usual one.
