Surround yourself with humans who create their lives. People who change, more than they complain. Create, more than they consume. Live actively, instead of accepting life as it is. Find people chasing down their potential and having fun doing it. :)
Healing taught me that honesty wouldn't ruin a real thing. Speaking about your feelings won't lose you anything worth having. Setting boundaries won't scare off proper people. & authenticity won't cost you genuine relationships.
Your imagination is just as powerful as whatever you believe your reality to be
People with half your skill are making moves simply because they decided to believe in themselves, imagine if you did too?
Being a “nice girl” doesn’t get you anywhere. Ofc you need to be polite but you also need to be assertive and direct. Speak up, say no, ask for what you want. Demand it even. Closed mouths don’t get fed.
You can be nice and still stand up for yourself. You can be direct and respectful. You can reinforce your boundaries and express your feelings calmly and be heard. The difference is your delivery. Being nice is not being a doormat or a people pleaser.
“I refuse to please others at the expense of my emotional well-being - even if it means saying “no” to people who are used to hearing “yes”.”

Knowing your worth in certain situations hurt but it’s also healing for your inner child. Standing up for yourself when nobody is, not allowing people to use and manipulate you and holding on to the fact that you deserve to be treated like the prize you are means everything. Sometimes it’s that one person you saw yourself with for life. It can also be that one career you almost died for. It can even be family related or friend induced but either way- what’s right is right and at the end of it all- people will only treat you how you treat yourself. So stand up for yourself when you need to. Walk away from things that no longer serve you and be your own rock in times of need.
We really have no idea why people do certain things and they might not know either. Everybody has their own shit going on and we should all be mindful of that. Consideration doesn't mean acceptance. Set your boundaries, wish them well and keep it moving.
