✨LazyTown Fanfic Fanart!✨
To show my appreciation and love for this side of the fandom, I decided to draw art of people's fanfics! These have been in the works for half a year on and off, and the entire process has taught me so much. I wanted to get these out sooner, but life has been very chaotic lately lmao wild roflcopter.
I'm gonna try my best to avoid spoilers throughout this post, but I want to properly honor certain bits and pieces of these stories because I just think they're so cool. Authors: if you want any links or psuedos removed, please let me know!
One of the first LazyTown fics I've ever read! I wasn't active on social media like I am now, so I was pretty much just a straight lurker as a teen. Despite everything, this show was a part of my childhood, quietly followed me throughout my entire life without me really noticing it, and I happened to find this gem when "We Are Number One" got popular — EVERYBODY was making content.
I can't remember exactly how I stumbled upon Sugar Plums, nor can I remember the very first story I've seen of this fandom, but I am forever grateful for this piece of literature right here. I cannot tell you how interesting of an idea this is; all from a fan theory! Sugar Plums has permanently altered my brain chemistry because it's a real heart-wrencher, that's for sure!
The cojones on Agnarr is something else. There were some descriptors for him throughout the story, but since certain details weren't mentioned, I had to take a few liberties with his appearance ^^; I really wanted to show just how gritty and raw this story is.
You NEED to read this if you're a sucker for angsty slow burns. Just be warned: this will HURT if you're a fellow Robbie fan!

It's not often that I see Robbie potrayed as the strong father figure of the kids, but I'm all for it! This fic does it really well, and that's not to mention just how many characters of the LT franchise are included here. Everyone has their own role and arc, and I feel attached to everyone because of it! I'm just an absolute sucker for found families.
What's not to love about animals, debt collectors, and magic?
Just let people help you, Robbie, dang!

Lord have mercy, this fic is HEAVY. Every action of a character has consequences, and I really do like the more nuanced and mature style of this story. Of course this is based off a kid's show, but really thinking about the damage an event could cause and just how life-changing it can be for its characters is a neat concept! An apology can only go so far in these cases, and it's interesting to see Sportacus finally break rather than bend.
Robbie sort of learns what he truly did (and has done in the past), and tries to rectify it in the way he knows how. He does what he feels is right, trying to make up for what he's done, but the fic really honors his personality; he's a little stunted in some areas, but he's practical, and uses acts of service as his language.
I also love the construction crew, they're super fun.

I'm trying to stay as unbiased as possible with these, but there's something about this fic that I cherish dearly. Whether it's another story with familial themes, the various scenes of Sportacus and Robbie's relationship, or it's one of the things I read during a transitional point of my life, and therefore it holds extra meaning to me on a personal level. Either way, this is a fun one!
Again, this story has a ton of characters, and they all have a lot to say. There's a bit of everything for everyone: angst, fluff, chaos — it's got it all!
I think this painting in particular was the one that taught me the most, as I really got to render details and focus on the lighting from their spot in a dusty room.
Also, my song of choice for this has nothing to do with the story other than the fact that I listened to it a lot when reading this — love Sweet Valley!
Please show these authors some love — but also be respectful, because I know at least one of them aren't into the fandom anymore!
Pardon me for such a long post, but I feel it's appropriate for how much I adore all these stories :]
Keep on reading and keep on creating <3 Happy holidays, and thank you to the authors for adding a little more fun in the world!
