Had this in the pipeline, meant to post later this week, realized that I'm not going to be in town to post it (and I'm sure as hell not posting fics from my phone).

Anyway, here's another bittersweet installment in The Fourth and Final Time. It's hard to believe this went from a mere oneshot to a four-chapter fic. Is it because I'm a sucker for the numbers motif? Is it a devilishly delightful AU from @giddlygoat? Or do I just like torturing Luigi?

You know what? How's about we don't answer that last one. I feel like that reflects on my character in a way that forces me to think hard about my life choices, and I don't feel like doing that before I head to the beach.

i just need you to know that your boyband comic has genuinely and wholeheartedly changed me. my fundamentals have shifted because of this comic. as i gaze upon it i feel enlightened beyond all my years and glimpse a fraction of a sliver of heaven’s pure and radiant light. where did you get the inspiration for such a masterpiece? tell me, does it hurt to carry such a beautiful burden upon your shoulders? if i sunk into the lowest imaginable human puddle at the lowest point on this tiny earth i would still not be able to bow low enough to this comic’s overwhelming intellectual and spiritual might. i could spend every lifetime that has ever been and would ever come to pass striving to articulate and honor the great power of this comic and i would not even come close to scratching the surface of its undeniable perfection. how lucky i am to be able to gaze upon the universe in all of its vast, vast glory and be spared my petty and insignificant being so that i may live on to celebrate this comic for the duration of my laughable mortality
