Being trapped in a 4 hour lecture today pushed me to venture out into the cold. Absolutely worth it :)

Whilst ignoring my mountain of coursework, I have been looking at all the clever discoveries people have made in terms of reusing things. I was especially impressed with the way people have reused wine bottles, which led to me trying one of them out! Creating quirky vases out of them is a great idea for those wine drinkers out there who are mindful of the environment (when they sober up) :) 

Make sure the bottle is totally clean, soak them in hot, soapy water for half an hour.

When it's dry, cover portions of the bottle with PVA glue. It's easiest to start from the bottom.

Slowly continue wrapping the wool around the bottle, pay special attention to the sloping part of the bottle

When you've finished, leave it to dry overnight (probably doesn't need that long, but it would be a shame to mess it up :P)

Pick some flowers that suit the colour scheme of your room! there are some decent priced flowers in Wilkinson :)
