Hey I’m really sorry but I’m struggling with my muse for Kilgrave. I really have no motivation to reply which sucks! I’m going to try and fix tthis but until then it’s going to take time. I’ll reply if and when I can.

He shrugged before following the instruction, walking into the box, the illusion still impressive but he didn’t comment again.
“Don’t be daft, You said you’d be back in a few minutes, you left me, stranded in a place I don’t even know!” The British blonde folded her arms and looked at him with a stern expression. “That was three weeks ago! If you didn’t want me ‘round anymore Y’ could’ve just said and I’d go back with mum and Mickey!”
“No I...I was busy?” He offered, really not sure if he could keep this up much longer but she hadn’t seemed to have caught on just yet. He shifted his weight and clasped his hands together.
“Can we just move past it? You need to tell me everything that’s happened!” He asked, hoping that would clear things up.
“By all means, feel free to look around and stay as long as you feel necessary.” She flashed the man a smile.
He nodded, not giving her a smile back as he took out his card, “To pay for it.” He said, handing it to her.

Cora nodded”Alright then” then she follows him so needed to pay attention more”Okay” she didnt want to argue with him more. He wasnt happy.
He walked head of her, making sure she was following behind before they finally reached the restaurant. He opened the door for her and held it before following her in.
The shifting of her skirts, fluttering in the wind as soft as curtains, her eyes wide as her body carried her forward without even so much as the change to test it as she pressed her lips to his. Though she didn’t clench her hands at her side the way someone might when they were doing something against their will. Like she did when her uncles friends decided she was pretty.
Her fingers latched into his shirt sleeve instead.
Kevin froze as he felt her hand on his sleeve and pulled back, confused. He blinked a few times “Did you..want to do that?” He asked, wondering if she had obeyed the command by choice or not.

“Don’t we all need a drink.” Em muttered sardonically. “Ja, I’ll send Frenchie ‘round in just a moment.”
Ah, that was more like it. “Close. Max owns the club.” She paused. “Ich bin ein confrencier, je suis autre compare… I am your host.” A dramatic flourish.
Kilgrave rolled his eyes a little bit at the unnecessary German and French. “Lovely.” He said simply, feeling like she demanded a response of some sort. “Do me a favour and just keep it simple. I’m not going to be here long.”

“Aye five grand and about the guards well I suppose you got past them…clearly I think I can manage”. She said with a click of her tongue, as she picked up the pliers from the tiled floor and glanced upwards into the Brit’s manipulative brown eyes once more, then back at the painting. Truthfully he was right, it wasn’t worth wanted worth five grand and her art surveying skills told her so. She wanted to agree, but it wasn’t of protocol; it wasn’t her place to judge a client’s choices.
“See now I got past them because I put them here. Let’s make a deal, I will agree to remove the guards if you agree to giving me a portion of the money.” He said, no specific orders involved. He just wanted to see if he could negotiate without ordering someone to do something. He definitely didn’t need the money.
@someonetookmurdercorpse Rose hadn’t travelled in a while, she hadn’t seen the doctor in over two years. No goodbye, no word…just gone. She couldn’t bare being cooped up in the flat with her mum-don’t get her wrong, she loved her mum very much, she just couldn’t take her sometimes.
So she left. Travelled to a few places, but one place she hadn’t been to yet was New York!
She walked down the streets of the town called “Hells Kitchen.” What a name for a place! It was like that Gordon Ramsey show. But not as good!
That’s when she spot him. That all too familiar face walking down the streets. He never wore his beige coat or pinstripe suit, but a spiffy purple suit. Purple? How strange.
“Doctor.” She called. Again, “Doctor!” But this time it was a bit louder. When that never caught his attention she ran up to him, pulling him back by his shoulder.
“Doctor! I was calling out to you, why did you leave?
Kilgrave was walking without direction. It was rare for him to do such a thing but he had needed the fresh air whilst people cleaned up a mess he had made back at his apartment. Stupid servants messing up their jobs.
He had just passed a cafe when he was pulled by a blonde girl who was demanding his attention. He looked down on her confused but decided to play along when he realised she had mistaken him for someone else. It wasn’t as if he had anything better to do.
“I had to. You know I did.” He said, trying to figure out the situation here? Lovers that were seperated. But no, why would she call him Doctor? Medicine man abandoning a terminal patient? Perhaps? He supposed he would find out in time.
She nodded moving from one desk to another to sit on the table he had motioned towards, not thinking at all that something was commanding her to do so. Smoothing her skirt when she hopped onto the desk. “Alright.” She tilted her head “But simple commands I would do anyway aren’t a good way of telling are they?”
“No but I don’t want to hurt you.” He said, looking down at his feet swinging on the edge of the table as he tried to think of something he could make her do that wouldn’t hurt her. He thought of something then frowned....would that be ok. “I’m only saying this to test...but uh....Kiss me.”

She laughed, more from shock than anything else. “"You’re here to see Charlie? Christ, what trouble is he in now? And I’m not a waitress, but I would be happy to send one over to you.” Smarmy piece of shit, acting like he’s so much better than her. She used to be respected. She used to be a God, in her own right.
“Quite a bit actually but we are not to be disturbed.” He said, “Fine as long as we get drinks. I feel like he may need one.”
Kilgrave shifted in his seat and reached for his glass, sipping more of it. “If you are not a waitress then are you the owner?” He queried.

“Five grand, exactly, if done right”. She smiled, as she took a step forward closer to him, tightening the strap of her gloves. It was a lot for a simple job, but she wasn’t complaining; she had never made that much in one night. The client must have been someone important, because the painting itself was nothing special.
“Only five grand?” He asked, curious. “This painting is worth much more. And anyway, how do you plan on getting past the guards?” The security here is tight.”
Elizabeth was slightly surprised that he accepted the prices without a complaint. She figured he would. “It’s your choice, which would you rather?”
“Well I’m here now. No point wasting time.” He said as he looked around more, “Perhaps I will find some later that I might wish to purchase at the end of the exhibition.”

“I…. well… in a way I am” she says softly she sees his arm and how it was causing him pain “Is your arm hurt?” she asks softly. Looking down she sighed”ummm in these, surely you would like it if I looked decent?” she asked
“I’ll be fine.” He snapped before nodding. “Just like that will do. Follow.” He stated as he started back in the direction of the restaurant.
can kilgrave control someone who doesnt speak/understand english, or the deaf?
ooc: I believe he can as his ability is virus based rather than in his words. I think the virus changes chemicals in the brain so that the actions are compulsory. If anyone wants to offer any theories that would be better than I would appreciate it but that’s where I am at the moment. In general he avoids travel though so doesn’t encounter people who don’t understand English much?

(Muse is based off of the Emcee in Cabaret, but it’s not really important. Her name’s Em. She works as the host of a burlesque club in Hell’s Kitchen.)
She knows every face, every warm body that fills each seat in the audience. The Kit-Cat doesn’t get new members these days; her sole customers (and her dancers’) are regulars.
The man in the corner is new. He’s got rough stubble lining his chin, and a plum suit, and there is a fucking /stranger/ in her club. Em makes her way to his table, allowing the slight sashay in her step to fade somewhat as she gets closer.
“Can I help you, monsieur?”
Kilgrave sat, drink in his hand as he looked over the people in the club. He was waiting for someone as part of a business deal and the venue had been their choice. It didn’t appeal to him but this was important so he hadn’t pressed the matter. It was always good to find new places where he wouldn’t be recognized.
He looked up sharply as he saw someone come over. “Yes, I am waiting for someone. I believe his name is Charles? He will be due within the hour and i would be lovely if you could direct him over here and provide us with more refreshments.”
She nodded “What can you make people do? It’s um…I know you were able to make my uncle go away…but…and well…maybe we can both practice?” She offered with a strangely excited smile. “So…um…does your power work on me?”
“I don’t know. Come sit on this table.” He ordered, wondering if she would obey even if it wasn’t her power making her do so. He tried to think of something he could make her do that wasn’t going to cause her harm but that could prove that he was making her do something.
