Reblog to cast
So I’ve been listening to podcasts again and I wish someone had done this for me when I started out, so let’s sum up and describe some podcasts, shall we?
The Magnus Archives - Jonathan Sims, newly instated Head Archivist at the Magnus Institute, London, is trying to sort through statements of people that claim to have had all kinds of supernatural encounters, while only having a taperecorder to do so, because for some reason, the statements won’t let themselves be recorded on anything else. But I’m sure it’s nothing, right? Supernatural Horror at it’s finest, with incredible characters and worldbuilding. 200 episodes.
Welcome to Nightvale - An incredibly cryptic podcast, set in the fictional town of Nightvale, where all the conspiracy theories are true. Listen to Cecil Palmer, the host of Nightvale Community Radio talk about the happenings in the town, his day and that strange, beautiful new scientist that has come to town. Over 200 episodes, ongoing.
Wolf 359 - Communication Officer Doug Eiffels log of the USS Hepaestus’ journey, observing the red dwarf wolf 359. Twists and turns, some expected, some most definitely not, all in all a good time for all podcast fans. 61 episodes.
The Strorage Papers - Unsetteling horror stories, found in a storage lot, unraveling faster that a ball of yarn. Can you keep up? And, perhaps the more important question: Can you keep it together? Carefully crafted stories that make you lock your doors twice. 104 episodes, ongoing.
The Penumbra Podcast - The space noir tales of Private I, Detective Juno Steel and his adventures on planet mars. A podcast so mysterious and casually queer, it’s almost addictive. Although their phonecall noise sounds like my alarmclock, the sound design, characters, storytelling and worldbuilding are unlike anything I’ve ever come across. 4 seasons with about 20 episodes.
Camp Here and There - Camp Nurse Sydneys recordings of his daily announcements. If you’re a fan of Gravity Falls, this is that next summer you’ve been waiting for. 34 episodes for now, possibly ongoing, possibly not.
This is it for now, I’ll be adding on when I can. I hope this’ll help someone… or not.
what you need to understand about recommending a show to me is that no matter how much we both know I'll like it, I can't watch it until the Neurodivergence Department in my brain approves it. I don't know when that will be, and I don't have any more control over it than you do.
I need everyone to understand the above gif is unedited. That actually played on TV.
apparently this is a thing in Japan too, and it gets translated as “Mundane Halloween.” There are loads of photos online and they’re all so good?????
“Person going to work on a windy day"
“Woman who’s having her bang cut but the hairdresser is nowhere to be found"
"Zookeeper in charge of the pandas"

“Did people say you love me?”
“They said that’s why Snow tortured you. To hurt me.”
the reason “real or not real” is so romantic is that it’s not at all romantic. it’s not about anything other than an unwavering commitment to helping someone you care about come through the ugliest things imaginable. it’s about recognizing the horrors you’ve gone through have a lasting effect on you. it’s about asking for and receiving help in the aftermath of trauma, even when that’s hard, ugly work. and it’s such a good conclusion to a romance that starts out all about the ~romance~ of it all, and it shows what distinguishes the honest love they share from the fake love we see so much of in the first two books.
How to ACCURATELY calculate calories burned while working out!
We have all seen those cute “easy 100 calorie workout” posts. But sadly, those calories burned aren’t always accurate to what your weight it. A person who weighs 180 pounds is going to burn more calories than someone who weighs 135 pounds. So I’ve done the math behind how to get a perfect count
KEY THINGS TO REMEMBER
• Each workout has their own level of intensity which will therefore burn different amounts of calories
• To get an accurate count, each exercise must be done for a full minute without stopping.
HOW TO CALCULATE
• Each exercise below has a matching decimal
• Take the decimal associated with whatever exercise you did and multiply it by your current body weight
• That number will tell you how many calories you burned in one minute of that exercise
Squats~ .096
Push-ups~ .037
Crunches~ .022
Planking~ .022
Jumping jacks~ .037
Arm Circles~ .007
Mountain climbers~ .059
Lunges~ .059
Donkey/Back kicks~ .030
Walking~ .014
Running/sprinting~ .096
Stairs/ Stair climber~ .044
Weight Lifting~ .022
Box jumps~ .096
Burpees~ .059
EXAMPLE
For a 135 pound person- one minute of burpees will burn roughly 8 calories a minute
For a 180 pound person- one minute of burpees will burn roughly 11 calories a minute
I hope this helped any confusion of how to accurately count calories with out the use of a Fitbit, calorie tracker app, or just guessing. Happy exercising!

Wow, watching the scene where Amy comes in and interrupts Frank and Karen.. Karen reacts, turns towards the door opening but Frank, the SpecOps soldier is so disarmed and distracted by her that he cannot hear it. Doesn’t acknowledge someone entering the room like … Wow? Karen Page’s power? She gentled the beast at war inside of Frank… I –
