I'm mod Wolfie! The only person running this blog (as of now). My main blog is @wolfcake101 , incase if you want to talk to me outside of the mod, for some reason. I'm also the sole person working on this Minecraft mod, it's my passion project!

Mr. Mod Creator sir, would it be possible to get a possible to get a port for 1.19.2? I understand mod devoloping is not easy and keeping multiple versions updated is probably not possible for a single dev but...I am asking anyway. Your mod would be the one thing I need for my mod pack to reach perfection. Again, I undertsand if that's not possible, that's totally fine. Thank you for reading and sorry for the long message =w=

this question sure is a popular one huh Unfortunately it is not possible! (at least for now) If I could, I definitely would've made it for 1.19.2 or some version similar to that! Even if I didn't have to worry about keeping the mod updated, I physically cannot make a version for 1.19.2. Why? For some reason, if I try to run ANY version of FORGE (fabric still works) Minecraft higher than 1.18.2 it just.... crashes. This means I wouldn't be able to test my mod and it would most likely have many issues! I have no clue of what is causing it, so until I get that resolved, porting the mod to any version higher than 1.18.2 is impossible for me.

Howeverrrr, if somebody out there can help me figure out what the issue is, then that'd be most appreciated :] (and it would mean i'd be able to port it!)

Hm, well...we have a situation on our hands- I just finished an update for Something Is Watching - quite a crucial one at that, since I'm removing the Nothing books for being too buggy and instead using a different method of communication for Nothing - but uh..

Curseforge isn't working for me right now. I don't know if it's a site wide thing or just a me thing but it's not allowing me to log in...

So, I have no clue how long this is going to be an issue for. So until I get Curseforge to work again or something, I'll just have a google drive link to the new jar file! Sorry for the inconvenience :(

Notes:

Nothing only talks to you if gamerule somethingisdestructive is set to true

You can't use the heart on the Nothing catalyst if somethingisdestructive is set to false

Nothing Books have been completely removed

If you haven't already, you should make an official Discord server! Love the mod, btw. Something is ADORABLE in artwork, in my opinion.

The Friend and More Foes Update is Now Here!

Hey! Been a very long time huh? Well as I promised the new update I planned for today has been finished and approved! Enjoy the new content!

This update adds:

A new set of animations for Something

A new structure containing a beating heart

5 new assimilated mobs (Zombie, Skeleton, Creeper, Spider, and Enderman)

Multiple new advancements

2 new weapons (Something Scythe and Nothing Sword)

A gamerule to adjust the infection rate of Something

A way to stop the spread of Something once and for all

A new entity to help you, that has been anticipated for a while...

Books from said entity to give you tips on how to defeat Something

Hello! An update should be coming out later today - I'm sorry for the wait, I did say I was going to post one a few months ago however I just got caught up in a lot of stuff and updating this mod wasn't my top priority- However something (pun intended) BIG is coming today :)

HAPPY 10,000 DOWNLOADS!!!! big update coming soon as promised! though i will admit the massive absence was mostly unproductive bUUuUT this past week has been very productive! i've done a lot of cool additions that i think you will all enjoy :]

off topic but i want you guys to know that my own mod terrifies me sometimes. like, my entire game froze on this while a long terrifying noise played i was playing with my friend

turns out it was just the new sound i added to something overlapping so many times in such a short amount of time that it crashed

Changed it so that Something no longer eats cats

The Nothing armor has been slightly buffed

The aquatic form for Something finally works!

Assimilated Wolves have been added!

Introducing the Something Stalker and the Something Bomber

tweaked the spawn rates again

Removed a painting

Added a new structure

Added a Missing Texture bandana

holy. holy god. i was playing the mod with my friend the other day and its CRAZY dude.

okay so me and my friend were building a minecraft house right? but we kept hearing something laughing. so my friend was like "lemme go see what that is"

they go down. and. oh my god. THERE WAS AN ENTIRE FUCKING HIVEMIND OF SOMETHINGS DOWN THERE. RIGHT BELOW OUR HOUSE. YOU WANNA KNOW HOW BAD IT WAS? IT WAS SO BAD THAT THROWING PURIFICATION FLASKS WITH AN AUTOCLICKER FOR 10-15 STRAIGHT MINUTES WERE NOT ENOUGH TO GET RID OF IT.

something was playing the long game i guess, the fucker was laying dormant right underneath us.

anyways my mod is way more fun (with friends) than i thought it would be lol. also stressful and terrifying but fun!

sorry for no updates recently by the way, i was planning to update the mod sometime earlier but uh, i got caught up in a bunch of stuff i have to do, so it may take longer than i expected

Good news though: i think i may have finally fixed the aquatic form. that'll be nice for the next update!
