My lovely followers know it’s slowly creeping into that time of year when we can start emotionally justifying our plans for the upcoming autumn ahead, and start relentlessly reblogging pumpkins 😈 🎃
However it’s been a long time since I’ve done an updated post of my own. Lots has changed in my life, my weight loss and healing of PCOS as well as emotional and mental health recovery and stability have been huge this year. I hit many low spots with my physical and mental health over just the past year. Grief in many areas with people both living and dead. Anyone who has a death of relationship or loss of love with someone they loved knows this pain is unbearable. So I took a loooong hiatus from here.
Over the course of a year I lost over 100 lbs of fat and built an incredible amount of muscle (particularly in my thighs and glutes)
I had to do this naturally without prescriptions, Ozempic/glp1s, and surgery bc I do not have the money, or insurance to afford them. Learning to heal from, and manage, my binge eating disorder and food addiction that plagued me most of my life is one of the hardest things I have ever done for myself. I have put many symptoms of my PCOS in remission, and can now have children— which was something I wanted desperately and could not, due to infertility from my pcos. I am now in state of stability with my bipolar, depression, and all my other -isms. Still continuing with my weight loss, strength training and body recomp, but also prioritizing other parts of my health— my mental health being a huge one. It took me until the age of 27 to finally understand I *need* my meds, that mania is awful for me and those around me. But I’m beyond grateful I did have that moment of intervention with my loved ones, and since then have been on my meds and able to reach a point of stability, as well as sobriety from my addiction to benzodiazepines which has plagued me many years. I had a long stretch where I was clean and was on a bender for a year due to stopping my meds and living in a manic state. I have lost a lot but gained so much as well.
I have finally found myself after years of forgetting who I was. 🖤🌙🦇✨
I make my art a pinnacle part of my life and I’ve learned to embrace my sexuality and femininity after years of shame- based suppression. 💖🍯🍑
I look forward into going into this new fall season in a completely different, and infinitely better, state of being— both mentally and physically. I can say my growth through life cannot be measured through any kind of schooling or financial prosperity, but through character growth and bettering myself. Watering myself and letting myself grow and flourish, and I’m so grateful to have logged on and see so many of you are still with me 🖤🦇🍂
This will continue to be my fall blog, and that’s all I will post here, but if you wish to see a more personal side of me and my weird lil brain, you can follow my personal @stemsandseeds
Let the influx of fall posts commence, and always be ever- growing and glowing✨
Much love and spooky vibes~ Divinity
