"Embrace your beast" - by Benjamin Malejko who is a German new media artist known for creating surreal, dark, and symbolic graphic artworks, often operating under the handle @palatiumanimi on social media.
The concept is rooted in the archetype of the "beast" from stories like Beauty and the Beast, where the monster's inner world must be loved to unlock transformation. "Embrace the beast" means radically accepting, acknowledging, and integrating the repressed, darker, or "wilder" parts of oneself—often called the shadow self—to achieve wholeness and healing.
There are numerous computer games as well as master thesis works examining the appeal to humans.
Embracing the Technological "Beast" (AI & Data)Taming AI: Rather than ignoring AI tools (like ChatGPT) or fearing them, researchers are increasingly "embracing the AI beast" by learning how to use them for research and teaching, while maintaining academic integrity.
Martin Butler’s Dark Philosophy: A modern approach to "Embracing the Beast" that draws on Nietzsche and Schopenhauer to encourage embracing the dark, deterministic, and primal "will" within humans, rather than denying it in favor of rationalism.

no leaves, but plenty of eyes.
inspired by me spacing out on a long drive & staring at trees. this happened earlier this year, and birches ended up growing leaves before i finished the doll.
all branches & roots are made of metal wire + hot glue, which makes them poseable and also keeps them from snapping.

SO I FINALLY MADE A FRIKKIN MOTHMAN! I wanted to keep him a surprise until I got the foil print in! I'm SO pleased with him! I really enjoyed working with inks on this one!
I have him available for pre-order on my etsy in both mini prints and full sized prints! They should be shipped out by the end of the month!
Thank you so much to all you guys who bullied me into doin' a Mothman!
