Cackle's and Pentangle's rivalry my beloved <3

OH MY GOD, YES!!! I never thought there would be any fan material about this ship, or about Phyllis in particular. I always shipped them in a way 🙈, but unfortunately there's only one episode with Phyllis.

When I rewatched the series years ago, I remembered that Charmian is in series 4 (which I rarely watched as a kid/teenager due to the lack of our lovely cast). I nearly exploded when I realised she was playing the HEAD of the College!!! 👀 Since then, I've wanted to make gifsets of her, as there aren't any!!! What a shame! 😂

Charmian May is great. I'm a huge fan of hers and I also love her in other roles. She seems to play a lesbian in almost all of them! 👀

Something magical happened one year ago. Prepare for a personal mutuals-to-lovers story.

@sometimes-somewhere-someone and I started out as mutuals on tumblr, both being part of the wonderful Hackle-fandom (thank you all, guys!).

We liked each others‘ posts, becoming more and more intrigued by our content and humour, soon followed by some random messages on tumblr. Soon we realized that we had much more to discuss, so we exchanged numbers. We spent evenings texting, but it was only after days that we found out we live in the same city! We couldn’t meet up straight away so we spent some long days waiting for our encounter, slowly falling in love with each message sent.

On this day, one year ago, we first met in person. It was crystal clear that I finally found what I was looking for. Since then we share our laughter and tears, an apartment and -hopefully soon- a cat.

All this wouldn’t have happened without the glorious fandom and our sweethearts Hecate and Ada, who are to this day our ideal. I hope that we share the same love, warmth, respect and sensuality in the years and years to come.

It's been over 3 years now and it took me way to long to write a post about you, my most special person @parisolympia.

I remember how at the beginning of our relationship I could have written novels about what you are to me and how much I am in love with you... I just could never put it into words.

Now so much time has passed, we've been living together for almost 3 years, our relationship has deepened and changed (in a positive way), and I still can't express what you are to me.

Except everything I've ever wanted and so much more. It's because of you that I know what trust and love is. I never want to be without you again, my love.

My own little dream of Hackle has come true. It still feels like a dream sometimes. I think that's the best way to call it ♥️

Hackle Summer Trope Challenge-Year Three

What’s this?

A challenge (created by @cosmic-llin) to inspire and generate Hackle (Ada Cackle/Hecate Hardbroom) fanworks for popular fandom tropes.

When’s it happening?

May 31st - August 8th, 2020.

Why’s it happening?

“I’ve been in a lot of small femslash fandoms, and one thing I’ve noticed often is that people are often shy about writing the same tropes and ideas that other writers have already used, in case they tread on their toes. Whereas in big, popular fandoms, twenty people can write variations on the same idea and they’ll all be welcomed by readers.

I don’t think we should be afraid of treading similar ground in our fics and other fanworks - we all have different perspectives to bring to the same basic concepts. So I wanted to do something to celebrate that and create more fanworks for popular fandom tropes.”~ @cosmic-llin‘s explanation that I echo 1,000x over.
