Yesterday...
Yesterday I got my second cocktail featured, and it'll run through the weeks service. I'm pretty thrilled about it. Made a mess in the kitchen but killed it. Something to think about
Last year around this time, one of my GMs drank himself to death. On Sunday one of my GMs was found dead after going on a bender. Makes you reevaluate life. Mostly makes me reevaluate how I take care of my staff. Watch out for one another. Protect each other.

Last night I was training a new guy, and my second didn't show up. I flipped my 14 top bar 5 times and we had an additional 205 resos. Have you ever been face fucked? I'd imagine it feels something like my last shift.

Woke up to another bill. Another grand down the drain. Another two weeks of my life gone. What the fuck. Seriously.

I'm a music conservatory drop out, convicted felon for dealing weed, bartender at a James Beard nominated restaurant and wannabe composer. I Fucked my life up royally, I've given up on my dreams, I work 15 hour days and then drown my sorrow away in bottles of whiskey. I pretend to be a wine and cocktail snob at work then drink shit whiskey until I pass out after my shifts.
Now it's later
So I guess I was drunk earlier and I decided to make this account. I'm not quite sure what I want to do with it, but it will probably just be musings of a suicidal, arrogant bartender contemplating his place in this world as he slowly goes insane.
Here I am
My life's falling apart. My first business is about to open in a month, but I'm probably going back to prison. I, in my error, got an owi while on probation. For the first time I realized I bought pills to OD on. We'll see where it goes.
