Skip the yapping, here's the game:

The game is a very simple yes/no (yea/nay) choose your own adventure type game with dating sim elements as thats what it was originally, with different branches to go down and endings you can reach for each character. It takes roughly 5 minutes ish to complete even through the longest route.

If you want to reset or have reached the end and want to play again, just click the green flag in the corner and it'll take you back to the beginning.

The plotline follows the one in the film, give or take a few bits to accommodate for the self insert. You arrive in Philadelphia as one of the new delegates from New Jersey alongside John Witherspoon. You can betray your orders and sit with Dickinson, or support independent and sit with Adams. It's up to you!

I've included as many characters as I felt was needed (though I'm not against adding a few other bits if Scratch allows me lol), so here are your options! I won't tell you here how to get to each one if you want to go in blind, but I'll add a guide at the bottom of the Scratch description if you really want to have a look.

Helloooo, I'd like to announce that I'm making a 1776 dating sim/visual novel type thing on Scratch!! It is almost (ish) done and will be uploaded on July 4th, next month. I'm on the hunt for a name for this thing, so if you have any ideas, do let me know!

I have most of the dialogue in and am mostly just working on the sprites now. It is quite heavy on my device so it takes a little while to edit it but it should be okay. Given the Scratch Team's nature, I'm not 100% confident that the project won't get taken down, but if thats the case I'll edit it to the best of my abilities. Its been in the works for a little while now so it would suck if it would so... fingers crossed, I guess. Scratch moderation can be very strange so I'll keep you posted.

The characters featured in the image aren't the only ones in the game! Hall, Hancock, Lee, Martha, Rutledge, and Wilson will also be included.
