âł Biography:
Kim Possible can do anything. In fact, her name is as appropriate as it could be. Her father is a rocket scientist and her mother a brain surgeon; combine the two and you get Kim and her twin brothers Jim and Tim, who are all too smart for their own good. The Possible house was always a busy one and outside of her life at home, Kim kept herself even busier. She was naturally athletic as a child and as she grew older she participated in different sports before finding a deep admiration for cheerleading. Athletic, kind, and outgoing, Kim was always the person to go to when things felt like a lot. She was a pretty popular kid and only grew more popular as time went on. The small town of Middleton was the kind of place where everyone knew everyone and Kim made sure to remember as many names as possible. She wasnât sure what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, but she did know she wanted to be remembered as the kind girl her parents raised her to be. Throughout her childhood there were some hiccups, most notably her childhood nemesis Bonnie Rockwaller. She was always trying to outdo Kim, but was a little more bitter by nature, so it normally backfired. Despite the many times Bonnie did everything in her power to get in Kimâs way, Kim remained graceful and compassionate. And she owed a lot of that to her best friend Ron Stoppable. Ron was her first friend, besties since kindergarten, and although he didnât fit Kimâs lifestyle exactly, Kim loved him more than anyone else in the world and would always fit him into her life. And it was because of him always being by her side that she found out she was capable of even more than any of them could imagine.
It all started with a call for help. Kim was a freshman in high school and trying to earn some money by babysitting. She had her phone number plastered around the neighborhood and her tech friend Wade helped her set up a website. She waited a few days to see if she would get any calls or gigs or anything and eventually someone reached out. He was a wealthy tycoon who had to leave on a business trip and his daughter needed babysitting. Kim figured this was an easy gig and even brought Ron along to watch the girl. She enjoyed babysitting the girl and everything was going well, and then the alarms went off. Kim sent Ron and the child to the basement immediately and went to look to see what was going on. It was here that Kim came face to face with a man that went by Dr.Drakken and his assistant Shego. They were rummaging through the families valuables and Kim found it her responsibility to stop it. She texted Ron to call the cops and she tried her best to fend off Drakken and Shego to stall. Her cheerleading skills came in handy along with a few martial arts classes she took when she was younger. She had distracted Shego in hand to hand combat while Drakken continued to rummage upstairs for something. She was able to keep them distracted long enough for the cops to arrive and when she was giving her name to the police, Drakken overheard and vowed that she would regret this.Â
It turned out that Drakken and Shego were after some serious tech that was disguised as priceless jewelry. What the tech was for? The owners werenât certain. All they knew was that if Kim ever needed another job with them, watching their little girl or protecting their valuables, she was going to be the first one they called. And ever since then her gigs would get more and more high risk. Wade went from setting up her website to helping her with high-end tech to aide her on her assignments. She was like a spy! Or a superhero! It was hard to say, but all she knew was that she loved the exciting missions she ended up going on. Ron joined her on occasion, but he normally was in the way a little bit. At the same time he was the perfect distraction every time Drakken and Shego ended up crossing their paths again. It was weird how the pair ended up being Kimâs enemies the way they did, but she knew she had to be doing something good if she was constantly facing off against evil like that. Her parents hated that she was risking her life the way she did, but she always managed to be home at a reasonable time and get good grades at school. So she was allowed to keep doing what she was doing for the time being.
What moved her to New York City was partly school and partly Drakken. She had gotten wind that his base was located somewhere in New York and when she got into Wishing Well she figured it was fate to move herself there. She met a lot of new friends in the city, like Olivia Flaversham, who reminded Kim a lot of herself in the sense that detective work was sort of what she did. Together they decided to look into Drakken and Shego, like a mini side mission that didnât get in the way of Oliviaâs work with finding her father, which Kim vowed to keep her ears and eyes open about. It felt nice having someone who understood her when it came to her work. She adored Ron, but sometimes she felt like she was on a different planet when it came to him. He was her partner in crime and best friend, but she never thought she would find someone else to enter her circle. Olivia wasnât the biggest Ron fan and she was sure her two worlds would never really blend the way she needed them to. And then she met Monique, a feisty woman who had an eye for the NYC fashion. She brought out Kimâs girly side, the normal side, and Kim was thankful for that. Monique and Ron got along great and the three of them felt like an inseparable squad.
As tension started to rise in the city, so did Kimâs job. She felt it pushing limits she didnât have before, physically and mentally. But she was a Possible and she had stated that she could do anything. But could she? She was starting to wonder. As she grew older it all seemed so hard and for what? She had no idea what she wanted to go to college for and now was the time to decide on that stuff. She felt like every time she was ready to take a break from her missions, Drakken was up to no good. Maybe he saw the weakness in Kim. Maybe he could tell that she was close to giving up. But it was that fear that kept her going. For now she did her best to balance school, her friends, and her work, but it was only a matter of time before she breaks under the pressure.
