Bittersweet Moment
My eyes open to a soft hazel gaze. I drift in and out a waking dream. The sweet scent of a finishing touch. Awakened me to a kiss and blush. A momentary moment so bittersweet, I look upon you looking on me. We paint the other's face colorful and gray, Imaginary canvass of our eyes and of our stay. The moment ends; You depart from me. The front door closes; I start to see. I ponder the image of the lock and key, Reflecting the permanence of eternity. I later go through the door once locked. Stairs that were at one time down, are now upright. A sunrise part; A sunset union. My trouble's end; A face shining bright.
