Please let this be your reminder for today that if you are sick or have chronic illness, a disability, or you're neurodivergent you should not compare yourself to others who don't suffer from the same issues as you do.
Comparing people in different situations as if they are both given the same chances to achieve the same results when they aren't is so detrimental. Be kind to yourself, keep things up at your own pace and don't let anyone (including yourself) make you believe you are not good enough because you have different ways of navigating through life.
You are not boring, you are not too late, you are not lazy or incapable. You have potential in you, but this needs to be brought into surface according to your own body, your mind and your needs, instead of expecting you to perform the same way as people who are don't struggle with what you do. It's an unfair comparison to begin with and it leads to nothing but more suffering. Be confident in yourself, no matter what others think and try to watch yourself when making comparisons.
You will get to where you want to be if you take it at your own pace, instead of burning out and getting sick. It is important to achieve your goals in a way that respects your body and your mind and allows you to be healthy when you finally make it.
