Finding time to do what you want is the hardest thing for me. They say it is easy balancing passion and work but if your work is totally different from your passion, everything becomes a chore. I love teaching and quite passionate about learning. I trained myself to love all of that. But imagination keeps me awake at night and somehow steals my thoughts during the day. Lead the way. In the olden times, the burden of teaching the younger members of the family lies in the hands of their mothers. Daughters are taught home management, literature, music, and arts while boys are taught reading, arithmetic, and martial arts to hone their discipline. What will become the main difference will be the type of education boys and girls will have after their homestudies. Girls are often only allowed to attend catechism schools while boys are allowed to further study law, medicine, and sciences among others. Dagang gulang. Casa Gorordo's history showed that large families often retain one female who'd end up being the "dalagang uray/gulang" (an old lady/maiden) who'd spend her life as a nun or single to take care of her parents. She'd have to sacrifice the chance of love although in most cases, ladies with bad expereince with love end up deciding to be one. Busay is that you? Things I learned while in Hong Kong, people are people. Man, if it was my first time travelling, I will be killed in self-discrimination. But every city and every people within it are beautiful. Maybe I'm more at an unfavorable spot as a Filipino but it pays to adapt and just be respectful. There are good people too.
