Hi! Mod Berry here (Rare poster, sorry abt that. I mainly focus on my own dedicated '06 blog). Sorry, this is really out of place on this blog, but recently I was hit by a car. It was a comparatively tame accident, don't worry!

My hip flexor and abductor muscle groups were damaged, and this put me out of work and into a wheelchair for awhile. I'm walking again and capable but the financial struggles with my student loans are making it uncertain if I can get through the month on my own. I'm making this post on a whim because of the encouragement of the other mods, if you've been on my personal blog you probably have seen that this is mentally affecting me as well.

I got hit by a car. I damaged my hip flexor and abductor muscle clusters and couldn't walk for a while.

This and my antipsychotics stopping working sent me down a really bad spiral where I became suicidal. I also missed a lot of work and my compounding debts from student loans thanks to the stupid SAVE shit going on has me in financial straights.

I don't know, I can't really express how bad it's been in a single Tumblr post :( if anyone could please donate to my Ko-Fi it would help me more now than basically any other time ever.

"Running from the past is a losing game, it never brings you glory" pertains to both Shadow and Mephiles, Shadow's whole character arc but also Mephiles trying to change fate and restore himself to the timeline.

"Been down this road before, already know this story" Dude c'mon

"'Cause when your time has come and gone, I'll be the one to carry on" is a perfect contrast to Shadow telling Mephiles there is no future for him, ever.

Not my first Sonic '06 modding endeavor (that was when I changed an NPC's dialogue to call Silver a white guy) but probably my most important given I don't believe anyone else has ever restored this dialogue.
