Gadzooks! We've been robbed--the unbirthday cake's gone... but a certain striped feline has left us a note.

A cake and most of the items on it can be replaced, but that magic Kaleidoscope sure as heck can't! We gotta get 'em back.

Looks like I'm going to have to prepare myself for finishing things up with Alice in order to get Pluto soon...

Just as we were making some headway on those quests, a new update dropped on the 8th of April! With it brought new features, new goods, a few changes, and a new friend: Pocahontas!

"And just so y'know, I've got some new goods in the store!" This time, Scrooge actually meant it! Felicity had eyes on that cottage dress to the left.

The craft interface got a much-needed change, being able to chose craft recipes by item type and through search as well! I know some people have been complaining about this, but the craft menu's been my biggest bugbear in this game. It'll be nicer to find specific recipes this way rather than endlessly scrolling to choose the one you're looking for.

I know there's one big addition from our favourite snowman, but we'll have to look at that another time. For now, let's see if we can find our new friend!

Well Buzz, I found 'em. At least, the ones outside.

I'd have to wait another two days before I could start finding the next batches or missing LGMs. Good grief, I know these games are meant to teach patience and all, but there comes a point where it gets lost in the clutches of the random number generator.

Trust me, Firestorm, the RNG can be a real pain in the neck sometimes. Splatoon being a prime example with Salmon Run.

I just hope you can get as much as you can done before Phil and Hercules join the Valley next month with the next free content update and Star Path.

Fixing up the claw machine at Woody's Carousel brought out some of the little green men across the valley. I'm sure those of you who've played this game know exactly what this means.

Eeeeeyup. Rescuing LGMs. And the first of three rescue missions.

Now according to the Wiki, these little guys are on a schedule. First nine show up after you start the quest, and batches of eight appear after 36 and 72 hours, but they can respawn if you don't find them after those marks. And unfortunately, that timer applies to the next two quests afterwards.

Now I see why this part of the game is so infamous.

It is no wonder I hesitate to proceed through this quest because of the situation with the LGMs and how difficult it is to finish due to this time limit...

Sully wanted to introduce a "Villager of the Month" competition to encourage the local populace to do more good around the place.

Donald very much missed the mark.

And Sulley agreed.

You don't even wanna know what Mike cooked up for it. And Ursula? Best you don't ask.

But the award just went to me. I did all the work, after all.

Oh well, nothing a bowl of fresh Succotash couldn't fix.

While we're working on grabbing stuff for Olaf, let's take care of more quests. Thank goodness this game is very flexible about multitasking and going at them at your own pace.

Aladdin helped me make a new carpet! Always wanted to try out one of these.

More progress for the album!

Timon and Pumbaa needed a little game night to settle in, so that's just what they got!

Pocahontas was wanting to share an old tradition, but a zealous little robot carried away the seeds we needed!

Finally could move Cheshire's questline forward again, and all I got was this strange party. Par for the course with this guy, I suppose.

Mulan got new training grounds as well!

Pumbaa was needing a hobby, so he took up pottery. Even asked Timon, Simba and Nala to join in. We've even got 'em displayed by the Exhibition.

I wonder if Moana's trying to convince Kristoff to join her on a few ocean trips... Eric might have better luck, tho.

And it looks like the Kaleidoscope changed to its final form! Let's hope that's the last of the split troubles around here.

Alice's questline is now complete. One down, a heck of a lot more to go!
