Random Troy Headcanon

(I recently went to Canadian Tire ((I’m Canadian)) and they had a display of roombas, and my mind lead me here)

You can’t tell me that Troy doesn’t fucking LOVE roombas. 

I meant who doesn’t

He’s never actually heard of them before tbh.

He was just browsing through some shops at some random outpost.

He wanted to get some air and maybe pick up some parts for his gadgets.

That’s when he saw them.

 Five little circular robots buzzing around in a little display area.

It was love at first beep. 

He buys all of them.

Of course, he names them because only a heathen wouldn’t name their little robot friends.

He gives them little upgrades, makes sure they are all unique.

Tyreen isn’t really sure what to make of her brother’s small robot vacuum cleaner army.

At first, she thinks they are a distraction.

But after seeing a gun haul video where halfway through Troy starts talking about his robot babies. 

So many views and comments.

The cult loves those damn things.

Everyone loves them tbh. 

You those people who vlog about their pets?

Same thing but roombas.

Troy also slowly accumulates more roombas. 

5 turns to like 17.

Followers give sacrifices for the roombas.

Tyreen pretends to be indifferent but one time during a live stream one of them got stuck, and she stopped to help it, calling it by its name and giving it a little pat before sending it off. 

EVERYONE. LOVES. THE. ROOMBAS.

Followers have fan pages for them.

There are priests whose job is just to take care of the roombas.

Troy is the crazy cat lady but with roombas.

Kitten

It was your name now. At first, it was a nickname, a pet name, given to you by Troy but soon it caught on. The other pets took to referring to you as Kitten. Not that you minded but it sounded odd coming from them. You much preferred how it sounded coming from Troy. 

You liked Troy. At first, you were scared. You had seen what he could do, the carnage he’d leave in his wake. The first time you had met him (the day he took you) he was covered in blood. The energy around him scream predator and every instinct told you to run but you hadn’t. Fear had kept you locked in place. 

It had given you whiplash when he started cooing at you, voice soft and weapons on the floor as he was trying to coax you out of your corner. He could have dragged you out of the room easily, but he didn’t. Eventually the soft words had calmed you enough, so he could scoop you up with no resistance. 

It has been nearly four months now. 

He remained gentle. 

You couldn’t understand it at first. What he wanted from you. You had learned from the other pets that they all served a purpose but you weren’t sure what yours was. It wasn’t until another pet called you his ‘Comfort Kitten’ did you realize what your purpose was to him.

Troy liked the comfort he got from you. Holding you, petting you, keeping you close. You realized how close he kept you to him. He let you seem him vulnerable like now. 

He sat behind you in the tub. He had stripped himself of his prosthetic arm and pulled you with him into the large tub. Troy was tired and sore, the recent raid being a hard one and you knew that he and Tyreen had argued recently. 

Troy had moved you so you sat facing him in his lap, resting yourself against him with your head tucked into his shoulder. His hand alternated between playing with your hair and drawing circles into your hip. 

He didn’t talk. He never did during these moments, rather he enjoyed the comfortable silence that fell over the two of you. Troy would watch you with half-closed eyes as he let the warm water and the weight of you relax him. 

It was normal for you to drift asleep, a mixture of the warm water and Troy’s soft touching lulling you asleep. He didn’t seem to mind it. Eventually though the water would grow cold and when you’d wake up it was always in his bed, tucked under an array of soft blankets with Troy curled around you.

Did anyone ever tell you that pets can be a hand full?

Admittedly you did have to confess that being kept as the Twin Gods pet was generally better than being dead. You were fed and clothed, got regular showers and a nice bed with the added bonus of not having to do any work with the only downfalls being the pet of two cult leaders. 

Not to mention one was a mild cannibal with a biting problem. Regardless life with the two twins was much comfier.   

Though it didn’t mean you fully submitted yourself to being a perfectly well-behaved little pet for them. After all, they wanted a pet and pets came with challenges. 

The first few days of your plan was spent slowly testing out the respective limits each twin had. How much could you get away with? How far could you push before you got punished and what were these punishments?

You spend most of your time screwing with Troy, the brother, for sheer virtue of him being the one to spend the most time with you in their shared quarters. You started small, moving the different things laid out on the workshop bench while he wasn’t looking. This was met with mild confusion when he’d reach for something that wasn’t there and then frustration has he was forced to dig through the chaos of his workstation to find it.  It took for it to happen a few more times before Troy would look over at you with a questioning look. 

You just stared back with a blank stare. 

What came next wasn’t originally planned but you didn’t dare not take advantage of an opportunity when it presented itself. How you somehow got stickers of all things was beyond you but none the less you were pleased with them. 

When Troy pulled you down for a nap (a normal occurrence) you went to work placing the oddly colourful shapes all over his mech arm, mostly in places he wouldn’t notice at first but soon you said ‘fuck it’ and went crazy. You found his sleepy confusion almost adorable when he woke up and viewed the rainbow of decorative stickers over his arm. 

The next few weeks progressed without much fanfare. You continued with your little pranks which were met with amused confusion (Troy) and varying degrees of slight annoyance (Tyreen).    

It all eventually came to a head one morning during a small private meal. The twins were playfully arguing (again, normal) and you tiredly played with your cup when an idea struck you. Silently you waited until you caught the gaze of the twins; first Troy and then Tyreen who both met your blank stare with questioning looks. 

Slowly you took your hand and pushed it against your cup, watching them as they watched you slowly push the object across the table. Once the cup came to the edge of the table you stopped, met their confused gaze, and then promptly gave the cup a finale push so it clattered to the floor below. 

It was silent as the twins seemed to process the admittedly odd event before Troy looked at you with a bewildered expression.

“What the fuck..”

When Troy first found you it was during a visit to one of the COV’s smaller outposts.

The outpost itself had belonged to a bandit clan that the twins had defeated. The place was just a small collection of buildings with bunker like basements.

You were a recent ‘convert’.

You had really only joined for safety in numbers and all that, despite the fact you didn’t like big groups.

Nervous, shy and easily frightened. It was a miracle you had survived Pandora as long as you did.

The minute Troy laid eyes on you he knew.

You were gonna be his.

It was almost surprising that he was able to spot you in the crowd of crazed followers.

You were nervously standing near the back of the crowd, trying to avoid being crushed by the devoted followers that were pushing and shoving to get as close to the twins as possible.

It was just your luck that when you finally looked up you caught the gaze of none other than Troy fucking Calypso.

He watched with a smirk as you blushed and immediately looked away.

Every time you snuck a glance back up he was watching you.

After they gave their sermon Troy watched as you scampered out of the hall, intent on hiding away in the safety of your little room.

Troy on the other hand immediately had some priests go and find you, given strict orders to bring you to him.

When you arrived in his room with two priests on either side of you, Troy couldn’t help but smile at your trembling form.

You were his.

Tyreen never cared for timid and shy pets so Troy got you all to himself.

You were kept in his room, a soft leather collar with a chain that was attached to the bed prevented you from leaving.

Not that you would anyways, far too scared to ever try escaping.

For all Troy loved to mess with you and your nervous nature he was surprisingly sweet.

Cute nicknames for you like ‘Kitten’, ‘Darling’ and ‘Sweetheart’ were the most common.

He liked having you sit in his lap.

Editing videos? You’re in his lap.

Planning their next broadcast? You’re in his lap.

Working on his one of his little gadgets? It's a little awkward, but he has you in his lap.

Always touching you.

The first time he comes back from an unsuccessful raid is terrifying for you.

He’s angry and loud.

When Troy notices how badly he’s scaring you he immediately stops, no matter how pissed he is about the raid he doesn’t want you scared of him.
