History:

　　　　His mother was attacked by a hollow (supposedly their own father’s hollow) when she was pregnant with him and his twin sister. She died in child birth, and the twins were separated. Luke went to live on his uncle’s farm in the high deserts of California while his twin sister was adopted by an old friend of their mother’s, a senator of the state of Vermont. Luke lived on the farm for most of his life, odd things happening with his powers as a fullbringer every once in awhile, like being able to see and speak to the dead and getting strange visions of things he’s never seen before. Like his mother’s death.

　　　　When he was 19 he left his uncle’s farm to join the Airforce to learn to be a pilot. At 21 he left the Airforce and became a full time pilot for various airlines. He hopes to someday own his own small aircraft to fly around.

The most Skywalker thing that happened in that movie was when Luke appeared out of the dust after being blasted by every gun the first order had, holding his shoulder as though he’d been injured, and then brushed his hand off his shoulder as though he was just getting rid of some dust.

Skywalker drama at it’s finest. When will your fave ever.

God, remember the trailers and promotional stuff for TFA and how every one was wondering where Luke was and how that turned out to be the whole plot of the film?
