CANON MUSES:
Gale Dekarios
Sarevok Anchev (NOT compliant with BG3 lore! Helena/Orin see rules ↓ please!)
Anomen Delryn
Valygar Corthala
Gaelan Bayle
Edwin Odesseiron (test muse)
Dorn Il-Khan (test muse)
Rory of Candlekeep (Gorion's Ward)
Most of my muses are from Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, but they're all available for BG 3 verses. Rory (my Gorion's Ward, in essence the BG 1/2 version of a Tav) is the only one where it gets a bit tricky to place him in BG 3 but it's possible.
CHARACTER SHEETS ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

GENERAL INFO
This is an independent roleplaying blog for the characters Gale Dekarios, Sarevok Anchev, Anomen Delryn and other characters of the Baldur’s Gate video game series. This blog is for entertainment purposes only; I am in no way affiliated to Bioware, Larian, the creators of Baldur’s Gate, or any of the actors I use as faceclaims.
NOTE: Except for Gale, obviously, my characters are based in BG 1 and 2. I am open to adapting them to the BG 3 timeline. However:
Particularly the character of Sarevok is VASTLY different in the old games - I do not take the events and story presented in BG 3 into account for his portrayal.
THE WRITER
I am over 30 years of age and I live in Central Europe. I work during the week, which means the activity on this blog will be low. Also this is not my only RP blog.
INTERACTIONS
I will only write with blogs I follow. This includes threads, memes, and anything in between.
If we’re mutuals, feel free to continue a meme in a new thread if you see the situation going somewhere.
I tend to write longer replies (multipara) and I prefer them over one-liners.
I do not write with people under the age of 21. I prefer writing with partners who are over 25, regardless of content. NSFW content is not a priority for me on this blog so there won’t be much of it, but I am not fully opposed to it.
Especially since the old Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 RP fandom is basically non-existent, I am more than willing to roleplay with any other compatible fandom!
FORMATTING & ICONS
I use minor formatting and sometimes icons, sometimes no icons. I have no problem with RP partners not using any icons/banners. However, I do ask you to cut your posts if we have an on-going thread.
SHIPPING
Please don’t force ships or shame ships.
I ship chemistry above all things, and so do my muses. However, Sarevok is a tough one when it comes to relationships, so if you’re looking for romance and eternal love you are probably going to be disappointed here. Sex is more likely to happen with him than actual love. Also, expect to be dropped or betrayed or murdered when you stand in his way.
While I, as a writer, am happy to write gay ships with Anomen, please note that he will be hesitant towards engaging in a romantic relationship with another man at first, due to his standing and upbringing.
As this has come up before: I will not write threads in which Sarevok r*pes/has r*ped anyone. Don’t request that, the answer is no. If it’s part of your character’s backstory, please leave it out in our threads, I am not making it part of his story in any capacity.
Also ORIN/HELENA and anything about his story in BG3 is not canon for my Sarevok portrayal. Please do not assume it in writing. If you write Orin or Helena, I'm happy to think of ways for us to interact that work for both of us (e.g. a fake Sarevok avatar, major illusion, etc.). But Sarevok has not fathered any children nor is he leading a cult of Bhaal. It's okay to assume Orin's story for Sarevok if you interact with my other (particularly the BG3) muses, but not with Sarevok, please.
WARNINGS
There will be dark and potentially triggering themes on this blog, both in my character’s backstory and in threads. With a character like Sarevok it would be hard to tag everything potentially triggering, but I will tag the most common ones (such as suicide, gore, torture, etc).
To name a few themes that I can see coming up/being mentioned: murder, mass murder, alcoholism, violence, self-harm, torture, …
Smutty content is tagged as #( not safe for waukeen. )
If you need anything tagged that I am not tagging yet, let me know and I’ll check if I can add it to my list.
Thank you for reading my rules! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask :)
It's been some decades but still few fictional betrayals have hit me as hard as Yoshimo. I loved that guy so much. And the fact that ToB pours salt in the wound when it offers to resurrect him and the answer is "no kind of magic could bring this one back" like ouch, okay, I get it.

• You're bleeding through your shirt. Don't tell me you're fine.
• How long have you been walking around like this?
• I'm not going to hurt you. I just need to see how bad it is.
• You should have told me the moment it happened.
• Hold still. I mean it. Hold still.
• This is going to sting. Bite down on something if you need to.
• You've been hiding this for days, haven't you.
• Who did this to you? I need you to tell me who did this.
• Stop being brave for five minutes and let me help you.
• I've seen worse. I've also seen men die from worse, so let me look at it.
• I found the bandages in the trash. You want to explain that?
• Don't you dare apologize for bleeding on me.
• Your hands are cold. That's not a good sign.
• I'm not angry. I'm terrified. There's a difference.
• Come into the light. Let me see your face.
• You should have stitches. I know you won't go. So sit down and let me do what I can.
• You're white as a sheet and still trying to stand up straight.
• I could hear you in the night. I didn't say anything. I'm saying something now.
• Don't look at it if it makes it worse. Just look at me.
• It's not weak to let someone see you hurt.
• You came to me. Of all the places you could have gone, you came here.
• Lay back. You're not getting up until the color comes back to your face.
• I'm not going to ask what happened. Not yet. First let me fix what I can.
• You've been holding your left side since you walked in. Think I didn't notice?
• This is going to leave a mark. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
• I've patched up a lot of people in my time. None of them scared me like you do right now.
• You could have died out there. You could have died and I would have been the last person to know.
• Sleep. I'll be right here when you wake up. I'm not going anywhere.
• You're allowed to make a sound. Nobody's watching.
• I need you to stay awake for me. Just a little longer. Talk to me.
• You're lucky the cut wasn't deeper.
• Stop apologizing for needing help. Stop it right now.
• I've seen what it looks like when someone's used to this. That's what scares me most about you.
• Tell me your name. Tell me what day it is. Stay with me.
• You're going to be alright. I promise you.
• You went back out there after this? With this?
• Nobody takes care of you, do they? That ends tonight.
• I've been gentle with you. I need you to be honest with me in return.
• You're safe now. You're here, you're safe, and I've got you. Just breathe.

Listening to the Candlekeep soundtrack and thinking about what it used to mean to Rory and what it means to him now, after the events of BG 2 (or even ToB).
He never felt like he belonged or wanted to belong there in the same way Imoen did, but it would be a lie to say that he didn't have any attachment to Candlekeep or Gorion. He might claim that years after the fact, but he's lying to himself to brush over the uncomfortable feelings he accepted back when he had no other choice. It's true that he didn't mourn Gorion in the way Imoen did, but he still felt the loss. It uprooted his entire life. Who knows what direction he would have gone into if Sarevok hadn't chased them down and killed the only life he ever knew? Maybe he could have been the good man Gorion encouraged him to be (even if Gorion didn't necessarily see the good in him undoubtedly).
Back then there was no time to sit down and deal with the complicated feelings he had towards Gorion prior to Sarevok and the Iron Crisis, and after leaving Candlekeep there was even less time. The path laid out for him forced him into becoming the man he is now and he let it happen all-too willingly. In many ways Rory has found his true nature after leaving Candlekeep, but with more guidance and restraint he could have become a better man. The story of BG 1 & 2 allowed him to lean into the worse sides of his character and the corruption his growing power offered and he rarely stopped to question whether that was the right path to go down. This is the main reason why he and Imoen grew apart over time, even though he still thinks of her as his little sister and will stand by her if needed. Their relationship just isn't very warm and she makes no secret out of the fact that she doesn't approve of his choices. If anything, it's Imoen who struggles to hold on to their relationship while watching him turn darker, while Rory doesn't give it much thought. They have a bond due to their upbringing, regardless of the blood that runs in their veins.
I'm adding Edwin Odesseiron after all, because I feel like everyone in this world deserves to be subjected to him at least once in their life and if y'all aren't going to play BG1/2, I am here to lend a hand 😌
Gale definitely had a habit of talking to himself when studying alone in his tower in Waterdeep. He still has that habit, and I don't mean half broken words, I mean full-on long sentences to formulate thoughts and assist himself making mental notes. This habit formed in part because Tara was around and she did like him sharing his thoughts and in part because you just end up doing that when you're on your own a lot. This is, among other things, why Gale comments on almost everything when you travel with him. His filter is gone and he's used to saying things out loud without anyone taking an issue with it.
As a ranger, Valygar has a vast knowledge of herbs, plants, mushrooms and all things that can be found in nature, including what can be useful for medicinal purposes. He is not a trained healer, but he has some solid knowledge in this field and can take care of some illnesses or smaller injuries. As such, he relies on his own knowledge and skill in this area a lot and only seeks out a temple/cleric when he (or someone he knows) requires a more potent treatment.
Since it is very in character for him, I'll run the risk of repeating myself when I say he will never, under any circumstances, accept a mage's help, not even for a healing spell. Let him bleed out in a ditch instead. If traditional healing cannot save him, then so be it. If his companions healed him by magic while he was unconscious, he will not thank them – on the contrary, he'll be angry when he finds out (and possibly leave the party).
