Hayase is picking at some leaves he pulled off a bush. Someone out there is fighting winged dragons and he's not part of the fun and that's very upsetting to him.

Hayase is wearing a VERY large toadstool mushroom as a hat. He seems smaller than usual, but the difference is small enough that one can not be sure when merely looking at him. He looks very happy about his trendsetting ways.

I don't have a Tolkien verse for my dragons exactly, but honestly I see them as very elf-adjacent. Immortal, care a lot about their territory, deep connection to the spirit realm (or however you call it). They are probably closer to the Maiar but ceased to serve or follow any of the Valar.
