WHY YELLOW? WHY? why is she off-centre? WHY DOES THE UK/ANZ COVER LOOK LIKE THE SHITTIEST THING I‘VE EVER SEEN? why is that text… like that. why is it basically in the middle of the cover? why is it basically unreadable? why are the text colours silver and blue on one and gold and red on the other?

It literally doesn’t even go with the rest of the series. The rest of the American version HAS SOMETHING IN THE BACKGROUND. This, she just standing in the middle of nothing. This is the worst.

And am I the only one who finds A.elin’s knighty armour just out of place? Like…when was she trained in the war type of swordfighting? When did she fight wearing armour? You know that a typical medieval armour weights about 140-145 Ib. This is the reason why women didn’t use to fight in battles. An average woman’s shoulders and back just can’t stand 140 Ib metal on them and since we are told multiple times how skinny A.elin is…

I think @spaceshipkat was totally right and SJ/M will have A.elin killing orcs a lá Aragorn in the Battle at Black Gate in what will be the final Battle.

And am I the only one who finds that yellow just awful?

unless sj/m somehow comes up with a way to make magical armor that’s lightweight and strong enough to withstand battle. i’m just picturing will’s armor in a knight’s tale tbh.

and speaking of lotr, i had a thought while answering an ask: we’re absolutely gonna get a scene where alien and maybe rowboat and maybe manon are all gathered together to dress in armor and one of them will say “it’s a little tight across the chest”

I’d say that she can wear the armor because it looks like it’s made from aluminum foil. It looks like a fly could land on it and make a dent. It looks like someone painted her skin-tight assassin outfit metallic and called it a day. At least it’s not got a boob plate, I guess, but a part of me wishes it did because then Aelin could fall and die from the plate piercing her sceptum.

That… sash? Dress? FLYING GODDAMN CARPET AROUND HER WAIST? Whatever it is, it’s ridiculously impractical and?????? Not even her colors????? Terrasen’s colors are green and silver.

Okay so I work in a day care in the infant room with babies 0-2yrs old and today we took the kids out and to a little pool area and one baby who is only 5 months old was not a fan of the water and when I told the dad when he came to pick him up he starts mumbling to him “that’s just not gonna work little buddy” and guess who it this lil fam reminded me of!!!!!
