this is it, crew. the grand line. nothings gonna stand in our way!
There is evil at work in the land to the west, Prince Ashitaka. It’s your fate to go there and see what you can see with eyes unclouded by hate. You may find a way to lift the curse. ASHITAKA アシタカ MONONOKE HIME もののけ姫 ┃ 1997
부산행 TRAIN TO BUSAN 2016, dir. Yeon Sang Ho
A good zombie movie should reinforce your sense of empathy imo. It’s a film about human beings, scared and confused, trying to protect themselves and their loved ones against incredibly dangerous creatures that already might include some of said loved ones. It’s people who are sick, disabled, or elderly needing our help more than ever, it’s every cruelty of the world magnified so not only will an act of callousness likely get someone killed, but their ravenous corpse might just make you pay for it. It’s about recognizing our common humanity, and all the ways the system we live in tries to make us forget that for the advantage of the rich and powerful. It’s about cooperation, solidarity, and love. Best example by far is Train to Busan, that movie chokes me up without fail, please watch it.

absolutely insane how the horror and the wild as well as ruin are such amazing, gut-wretching no skip albums
me when i look up The Fabelmans on Tumblr to see what other people think about that fact that eventually an artist must sacrifice their entire life for their passion and i mostly just find people calling Steven Spielberg’s dad a slut
