"That’s even better." he says and then he closes his eyes. It remains like that for a few moments and in those moment, Chord is trying to see if this is true, he’s trying to check if this isn’t a dream. And when he opens his eyes, it got cleared that, this is true. "I want to kiss you…" he whispers.

Sitting there felt like a dream, as if she was re-living her past. Remembering the moments when they spent time together, when they were that close for the last time and it felt like an entire lifetime, but now he was here and it was nice, but she didn't want to ruin it this time, not again. Watching him as he closed his eyes made her think about all that, but then he opened them again, looking at her. "Well", she said softly, her orbs boring into his, "then you should go for it."

Chord couldn’t help but smile at the moment Sophie grabbed his hand. He then obediently follows her, he watches her land down on the couch, first, before he walks over to her and lies down, resting his head on her lap. “You know… I’m not going anywhere.” he then looks up at her and takes the bottle. He takes a sip and gives it back to her.

Watching how he lied down next to her, his head on her lap made her nervous for a little. The warmth of his body immediately crept through her clothes, igniting her skin a little, while she just looked into his eyes. "Good", she said, giving him the bottle, before he handed it back. "Me neither", she said and took another sip before she placed it on the nearby table.

A grin was immediately plastered on his face once he heard the answer. “Awesome.” he mutters under his breath.

"Let's pray you don't run away again", she joked and laughed, getting up from her chair, "or I will have to kick your ass", she said and grinned at him, grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the kitchen into the living room. Sophie let herself drop on the couch, taking another sip, while she looked at him.

He tilts his head to the side, and chuckles. He is quiet for a moment, and then when she hears her comment about the whiskey, he smiles and instead of telling something related to her comment, he says something else. “So, does this mean I still got a chance seeing that you’re still a virgin and all?” he is serious, although he puts a little bit of humor into what he said.

Smiling at his reaction, Sophie got a bit nervous, not sure if she said something wrong or if it was the right comment to make about this whole situation, but she couldn't change it and it made her smile. As he broke the silence, she laughed, "yes", she simply replied, shaking her head a little, because she couldn't believe that he didn't figure it out by himself.

Chord stares at her for a long moment, if she only knew how badly he wants to grab her into a kiss, right now. But he’s going to keep that to himself. He blinks and chuckles a bit. “So, you dating anybody?”

Sophie laughed at his question, "no, still a virgin", she said and tilted her head, smirking at him. She didn't return the question because she knew he wasn't seeing someone, he wasn't the kind of guy that ever opens himself to anyone, she made it though, but that was awhile ago. Taking another big sip, she felt the alcohol running through her system, "huh .. that's a strong whiskey."

Chord opens the whiskey and then he takes a swig, his gaze not leaving Sophie’s face. It would never cease to make him wonder, how she changed over the years. The woman he thought that wouldn’t get even more gorgeous got even more gorgeous. He takes another swig and then he smiles genuinely when she says hi. “Hi to you too, gorgeous.” he trails off for a moment. “I want to say sorry for being a complete asshole to you these couple months.”

Staring into his blue orbs as he took a swig, his eyes never leaving hers, she felt her heart bumping against her chest. For a second she was scared that he might hear it, but then his voice broke the silence. Gorgeous he said and she could feel herself blushing. "That's ok", she said and took the bottle out of his hand, her fingertips touching his. For a second she didn't move, as if she was in a shock, but then she pulled the bottle towards her, lifting it to her lips until the sweet liquor reached her tongue, "I forgive you." How couldn't she? After all this time, it was him, over and over and there was no other man that ever caught her attention meanwhile.

Chord couldn’t help but roll his eyes playfully at her. “I’m going to deal with a drunk Sophie?” he asks her playfully, “isn’t it too early to be drunk?” he then goes to where he keeps the booze. He sees a bottle of Jack, he takes it and goes back to Sophie. He sits on the seat across from hers.

"Not the first time", she replied and liftet her shoulders quickly, a chuckle escaping her lips, "it's never too early to drink", she then said and watched as he came back. "So", she began, not sure what to say, "ummm", she tilted her head to the side, smiling at him, "hi."

He chuckles and then heads to the kitchen, he opens the fridge and takes out some bacon and eggs. Chord then starts to cook for her, after he finishes, he puts it all in a plate and gives her the plate. “Can’t think of something else, so here.” he then starts to clean up. “Do you want something to drink?”

Following him into the kitchen, Sophie sat down on a chair and watched him the whole time, how he opened the fridge, took out a few things and started to cook. She remembered the last time he cooked for her, not in the diner, but at her place back then. "Thank you", she said softly as he reached out the plate to her. Picking up the fork, she began to eat and watched while he cleaned up the mess he made. "No, I'm good", she said and chuckled, "except you are offering me some whiskey."

"Maybe I will." they walk their way to his apartment, he opens it and then enters the place, he then takes the leash off of Button. He licks his lips and closes the door. "So, what do you want for breakfast?" he asks her.

Sophie follows him with a smile on her lips. As he opened the door, she smiled, his scent washing all over her when she entered and began to pull off her jacket, spying him a little from the distant. "So, it's a maybe yes", she concluded and laughed a little, "whatever you have."

That- that’s awesome. [he offers her a hand.]

Yeah .. it is. -takes his hand- maybe you can cook for me, I didn't have breakfast yet.

No. Wait. You can come with us, well, if you want…

-turns around again- I would love to.

Walking with Button, we’re heading back home.

Oh- alright. Guess I see you around then -turns around-

Of course. It’s hard not to miss me and everything about me. [he winks at her.] So, where are you going?

Nowhere really, I was just taking a walk. And you?

Well, how couldn’t you miss me?

I could give you a few reasons if you want, but they didn't make me miss you less.

Right, I’m the asshole who doesn’t miss you.

You said that, not me. So, you do miss me? -she said softly- I miss you too -she whispers with a smile-

Looks like he misses you too, yeah. [he watches Button licks her on the face.]

He does -she quieks brightly as Button kissed her face- at least someone.

[He’s walking with Button and then when he sees Sophie in the street, he walks over to her.] Hey there.

Hello, you. -goes down on her knees- Ohhh, I've missed you Button -pats the dog that jumped right at her, smirking along-
