I immediately felt bad for starting this blog off on a negative note- this is (as I titled the post) take two.
Winter break is going to be epic. Let me tell you why:
1. My super cool friends: they are BASICALLY the only reason I came back to Kansas City for winter break. Let's face it, after reading that last post, and then comparing the weather in KC to the weather in California, it's pretty obvious it would have been way better and much easier for my mom to come see me in Los Angeles, but I miss my friends way too much. You're welcome*.
2. New Years: I don't know what the hell is going to happen that night, but I anticipate greatness. Dinner, friends, alcohol (maybe. probably. hopefully), dropping balls, 2009, dancing, awesomeness, need I go on? I'm pretty sure you get the picture.
3. Sion: This bitchin' school is another reason I came back to Kansas City. I wanted to see how the school looks (pretty cute), I wanted to see my awesome teachers (Kram, Chuck, Watts), and I wanted to check up on some of my favorite Sion girls. And by "check up on" I mean "laugh at for having a TRAILER as a classroom and no backpacks." It's all in love. I don't miss Sion, but at the same time, I do. I think the luncheon is going to be pretty cute- who wants to get real food after? Panera?
4. Family: So being the kick-ass college freshman I am, I live on campus in a crappy little dorm with a shit-ton of other freshmen. I was never a big fan of little kids until I moved away and never got to see them. I've missed my little cousins so friggen much over the past six months, it's ridiculous. Even the little hellion that causes problems- I even missed him. I would go so far as to say I might be doing some free-of-charge babysitting while I'm in town**.
5. Driving: I don't have a car in LA and honestly, I'm a little scared to have a car/drive in LA. I'm definitely not scared of driving in Kansas City, and it just so happens that my mom didn't sell my car- so watch the fuck out because I'm driving my ass off over the next month.
6. The Obvious/Misc: Christmas, no school, no work, no homework, no responsibilities, sleeeeep, etc.
Happy Ho(li)days!
