No-f UNBOXING
animated GIF
unwrapping your no-f
That moment when your new fresh no-f piece arrives
Today I took photos showing how it would look like when ordering a no-f piece. The idea is to make it a special, unforgettable moment. The unwrapping of a no-f piece always comes with matching postcard and stickers as a gift.
A fashion and lifestyle brand promoting the benefits of feminism by un-judging the whole thing and creating a community for sharing personal experiences with the topic of feminism.
No-f Stickers
“The No-fs and where they hang out.” - first no-f collection You really find them anywhere.
This shows the outcome of the No-f photoshoot. I’m really happy with the photos. They transport the easy-going character of the brand and support the message of the brand. By not showing a specific kind of person it allows anyone to identify with it and that’s all I wanted. To make it easy to identify with a brand that supports and educates about feminism in a casual way.
“No-Pink” is one out of 7 feminist topics, I illustrated and texted for the brand no-f.
no-f (meaning no-feminist) is a fashion and lifestyle brand which I found to promote and highlight the benefits of feminism in a casual, easy-going and a little self-ironic way. The project started out with the question “Would you call yourself a feminist?” Out of 20 respondents only 4 said “yes, they would”. All others were hesitant or negating it. For me it wasn’t a surprise. I myself haven’t always been so confident about calling myself a feminist.
For different personal reasons people find it hard to identify with feminism. Especially those who feel hardly or not at all affected by the problems to which feminism is dedicated and those who are simply tired of the whole subject tend to distance themselves from it.
Hasty prejudices, lack of knowledge or simply disinterest lead to the fact that something that is actually pretty damn cool has such a negative connotation.
Not cool.
So, let’s un-judge feminism and all become No-fs.
Also I animated my personal Logo today. Let’s go!
“Being a feminist doesn’t necessarily mean you have to call yourself one.”
It’s not about going on the street demonstrating or pledging to other people about it. Feminism is a mindset and the way you treat yourself and others. So let’s be feminists. Cheers, the no-f. - Another illustration from my current project “no-f”. A fashion brand with a feminist message that promotes feminism for all the guys and girls who don't like to call themselves feminists. work in progress -
All the things I like
- Illustration process - It’s never like you find the final solution right away from my latest project “no.f” - a feminist fashion brand for all those dudes who don't call themselves feminist. Will post more on the concept and idea later. This is just a sneak peak
I am working on the creation of a fashion and lifestyle brand called no-f. Rn I am searching for alternatives of how to present the brand and it’s fashion so that I don’t need real models since the situation atm prevents us to gather and meet in person. This is a first little try

“When is a movement not a movement? - When it’s a marketing campaign in a movement’s clothing.” - Mary Brigh In my design writing thesis I am taking a stand on the so-called femvertising marketing trend. This advertisement technique puts female empowerment centre-stage. Not a bad thing at first, but what’s behind the facade of brands doing so? - Comparing two brands (Nike - einhorn Berlin) and their marketing strategies, that seem completely different at first but have surprisingly many commonalities.

The very best about analogue photography is the surprise that comes with it. These are impressions of my last hike together with some wonderful people. Fortunately I took my camera with me, as the light on this day was special. Mysterious, magical and somehow luminous. ∆ it’s all about light
Like the autumn leaves swirling in the wind, being just joyful and nice to look at I kinda feel blown away and a little bit above the ground as well. Had a great weekend with amazing people celebrating my birthday and finished it with some thoughts about the life project I’m going to go for within my uni course. Instead of starting with the research straight away I decided to try some scribbling on AI. For my first session it turned out satisfactory. And besides for the fact that AI is a programme I want to improve my skills in anyway, this little practise was also good in case I decide to go for my first choice for the LPC, which is making an animated video about “Fashioning a circular future”.
Goals
This blog is all about the development I will go through the next month doing my Bachelor in Graphic Design in Prague. I’ve arrived 3 weeks ago and I already feel like in the right place. Let’s start this with some goals I’ll set myself to remember where I come from and where I want to go. It’s all about the journey ~~~
1. Setting up my own website
My website should show who I am as a creative person, what my skills are and where I position myself on the market. It should show at least 9 projects
How? I guess I first have to find a good domain, then see what kind of design I’m going for and then I will add work pieces time after time.
2. continue with my film project about the relationship between human and nature, finish the film and write about it.
This is about my final project I’ve created at Designschule München. It’s supposed to be a short documentary movie, so far there’s only trailer...
How? Basically just sit down, go through all the footage once again and just do it. I actually sat down at the piano today and tried to compose some music for it. sounded pretty sweet.
3. becoming professional in using illustrator and ae as well as premiere pro, so I can confidently name them as my key skills
I feel like I should already be at that point but I’m not. I really want to improve my Adobe Skills and those programmes especially seem to be important for my plans.
How? Practise! I already have got some ideas for projects that require me to learn those programmes. I’m excited to learn and put those ideas into practise.
4. create a portfolio that speaks for itself (in this case for me)
I’ve already got a portfolio, but for me it doesn’t meet my expectations towards myself. This really has something to do with its look but also with its content. I also want to shift the focus from quite analoge and simple to almost only digital and complex.
How? It kinda goes together with creating a website. As the things I am planning on doing in the near future are mainly digital, I guess it’ll make sense to concentrate on a digital portfolio as well. So that’ll mean a sweet website and posting some stuff on Instagram as well, thinking about creating a business account on insta.
5. becoming comfortable while speaking in front of people about my work and myself
This is a very important one for me too. I don't really feel uncomfortable , but I know that there is so much more to learn, so much more potential.
How? Practising, some decent research on that, watching Ted Talks (joking). Also I hope the interviews I will take for the thesis gonna help me
6. I want to work with my friend Daniel on a specific idea which is to create a platform where the understanding of plastic is revolutionized
Daniel, if you read this: I mean it. It’s a great thing and I have so many ideas popping up for this already!
7. Last but not least: Having fun
I feel happy being here where I am right now, so I should take that chance and enjoy every bit of it. Being able to learn and experience, I’m grateful for that.
