Ned had certainly been through slews of on and off studying, but most of that was before university. He pitied Sophie; secondary school was much less satisfying than uni was, but was happy to see that she seemed to be doing well. He was fond of the York sisters. He nodded. “Mm. Good marks are really satisfying.” A grin. “I couldn’t agree more. We should put you in charge of things.”
Sophie nodded. She had an essay coming up for school and she was less than psyched for its quickly approaching due date. She liked the book, and she’d finally found a topic, but she’d procrastinated it for a week and now it was due in two days and she had only a loose outline. She knew she’d pull it off, though. She always did. Sophie couldn’t imagine not being able to turn in an essay. “Yes! I would be a great leader. Forget a magazine, the Yorks will take over the world. I should go for Prime Minister.”
