I'm alive!! This is my first full piece I've done in years that wasn't a slog and I'm so pleased with myself! There was a bit of a learning curve but I actually had a good time drawing this! Art has been so difficult for me for so many years but I feel like I'm finally turning a corner and starting to find joy in drawing again.

I really want to make a career out of drawing, but the trouble is if I’m working from home I’ll have no reason to go out. I have one local friend but we can’t hang out very often, and I know I’ll end up feeling depressed and lonesome. Although, that’s how I feel now because when I go to work I work alone, the only difference is a stable income.

My ideal week would be half exercise and friends, half working on art, but that just doesn’t feel possible right now. I feel like if I could just quit my job I’d have enough time and energy to do that, and I’m fortunate to live with parents who won’t kick me out, but I dunno I guess I’m just afraid. I wish I had more friends, life after high school when you’re shy is rough :/

Anyway I just wanted to vent a bit. I really want to do regular art streams and comics and fun doodles and all that. Relaunch my patreon and such. I just refuse to accept that my life needs to be shitty in order to survive
