sorcery-and-seduction and godofmisfortune both entered the shop.
Augusten looked across the table to her drink, frowning at how far away it was. Still, he stretched over and just barely grabbed it, pulling it to their side of the table. “Here you go, dear.” He said, handing it to her. “I know I’m nice.” A chuckle escaped from his throat as he took another sip of his drink. “Oh, heavens no. But, I have a right to kick who ever I want out of my shop. There is a sign on the store that says so. That’s extreme measures though. Most of the time I just kill with kindness.”
Amora accepted the glass and nodded once as a sign of thanks. The liquid sloshed about as she took a sip. The burning sensation was numbed, either from her current state of drunkenness or perhaps a developing tolerance. "Nice as you may be, humility does not seem to be one of your attributes." She hiccuped and covered her mouth quickly. "I would not know of killing with kindness-" A hiccup interrupted her speech "-Most of the time I simply kill." She took another quick sip from her glass, hoping to cure her hiccups, however she was mostly unsuccessful.
“When I came here, I met someone who became very close to me. They mean the world to me, but they’ve just disappeared.” She knew that’s really all she knew either. She hadn’t known Eddie well and since he had gone she was at a lose as to where to start. Maybe it was for the best she gave up.
"People come and go," Amora replied. "In the end, if it is meant to be, you will find them once more." She hung her head and chuckled. "Look at me going on. Somehow I equate the things I have learned from surviving the hardships life has thrown at me with wisdom. Pay no attention to me, I rant." She shook her head and wrung her hands, glancing back up at the other immortal.

The touch of Amora’s tongue on her own brought her eyes to a flutering close, the pleasure of the two expressing their love for each other in public. It meant more to her than simply a deep kiss to show off to the others. It was the point that she had Amora in her arms, for nobody else to share in it. She was in love. But Amora often told her of her fear of being in a relationship; with one person at least. Venus had succeeded in breaking through that outer wall she had, she’d be ready to help the woman in any way. They loved each other, and now the public knew. Venus pulled away from her and Venus was basping for air, the pair’s lips just inches apart. Venus giggled a little with a nod followed by her own wink at Amora’s words. The Goddess pulled her a little closer for a last embrace. “It looks like our food’s arrived anyways, love.”
Venus took the woman’s hand and led her back to their table, where the warm food has been set down for each of them. The suculent meal’s awaited the pair while the two set down in their respective seats. The Goddess was more than ready to eat after that, most of her energy had gone limp after she’d first instigated her kiss with Amora. “That was really fun, actually.” Venus said with a bright smile, looking up to Amora.
Amora allowed herself to be lead through the small crowd of swaying couples. She gave Venus's hand a gentle squeeze. The portions were hardy and for a moment she recalled the food served in the dining halls of Asgard. It was difficult to push the thought from her mind as it clung on like a leech. Her lips formed a slight smile at Venus's comment, "You speak as if you are surprised," she drawled, her smile widening. "Do not say you underestimated me." She was slowly finding her characteristic confidence.
She took her seat and waited for Venus to do the same before she picked up her utensils. Saliva was filling her mouth as the rich scent of the meat and the quiet hint of vegetables wafted up from her plate. The veal was tender and the first bite instantly brought her back to her home in the stars. It felt as though she was tasting memories she had long since forgotten. When she swallowed, she felt the memories dissipate.
"How is your food, my dear?" she asked, glancing up at Venus and reaching for her glass of wine to wash the after taste of recollections away.

"Ah, Thor. You seem a bit..shorter than I recall." Amora chuckled weakly to herself.
Put "Mistletoe" in my inbox to see if my muse will kiss yours.
Headcanon #6:
While she is conscious, Amora has a reason for doing everything. None of her actions are simply a whim. Everything is cold, and calculated, and the ultimate goal is generally to serve her own purposes.
“Ha, no.” Amora answered automatically. She recalled a few of the characters she had met in this realm and suddenly stopped. She had never quite known such companionship back in Asgard. It was different here, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t missing her realm. “Perhaps…”
“Yeah, I guess so.” Even if it wasn’t a definite answer, she knew what the girl meant. In the end, would Lyra really permanently stay away? Probably not. “Plus I guess I still have to find someone.”
"Find someone?" Amora inquired. "As in, you traveled such a great distance because you sought someone?" She herself wouldn't have made such a journey, and she couldn't help but wonder what could be so special about an individual. One didn't spend such time and energy over just anybody. They had to be of importance.

Fleur nodded, “I understand.” She bit her bottom lip, as she leaned back and Tiberius leaped down into her lap. “Could I call Thor? I mean, maybe he can help?” She shrugged. “I wish I could do something,” She mused with her hair in thought.
Amora exhaled sharply. “No. Thor and I-” She looked down to twiddle her fingers. “I understand your crime of passion because I too have committed one…or two, in my past.” She looked back up at Fleur. “Against Thor. I just cared for him so greatly and he never returned my affections, and that is the reason why I am here.” She shook her head.
Fleur’s pale eyebrows shot up. “Wha-Really?” She asked softly. “I find that surprising,” She said, as she moved her curls over her shoulder. “Though with that thick-headed man, I can see it.” She sighed softly. “I’m sorry,” She put her hand on top of Amora’s. “Sometimes bad things happen to good people.”
She smiled slightly, “I highly doubt I am on the list of good people. Perhaps misunderstood is more of an appropriate adjective. Can you tell me more about your powers? Perhaps our abilities are…linked in a way.”
Fleur bit her lip, “I’m just good with throwing daggers and some longswords,” She spun a strand of hair around her finger. “But, magic wise I’m pretty good at anything, but especially nature.” She looked to Amora. “That probably doesn’t help, though.”
"Do you draw your power from the nature?" Amora asked glancing about. That would explain her sensing of force. "Perhaps I too can learn to harness this power." She nodded. It might work. Or, the power of nature might prove to be too weak for her to successfully harness. "How do you wield nature?"

Venus could feel Amora’s soft touch against her back, her shoulder, as it moved further down. She was happy, willingly letting her body press closer to Amora’s as the music fumed around them. The romantic aura of the moment couldn’t be disturbed even by the worst patron. Venus’s hand lovingly caressed downward just a little further, over the curve that lie beneath Amora’s back as she smirked. She could see people staring at her, it was to be expected. She retracted her hand slowly.
When she told Amora that she loved her, she could feel the very essence of love flutter about Amora’s body. Her aura grew with the same kinds of feelings, certain smells being emitted Cinnamon sugar and the sweet smell of a rose drifted off of Amora’s person and into Venus’s nose. When the Enchantress reciprocated those feelings though, that brought a genuine smile to her face. Her right eye peered around the two and she giggled, seeing that the other pairs were watching them. Especially the men, much to the dismay of their partners. “Let’s give them something to stare at, shall we beloved?” Venus whispered, knowing full well that Amora had seen it too.
And with that, her left hand lazily drifted along Amora’s back and pulled her closer, just in time for Venus’s lips to once again meet hers. She introduced her tongue first this time, bringing it slowly to pierce Amora’s lips and drag into hers. The two were locked together at the lips as the slowly kissed each other in the deepest manor they could get away with while continuing to dance under the dim light.
An electric current buzzed down Amora's spine as Venus kissed her. She parted her lips to allow access and rolled her tongue along the underside of her lover's. The desire to show off was not only Venus's, however there were darker tones to Amora's compliance. She wanted the world to know she had the Goddess, right there on the dance floor. But, beyond the sight of them expressing their love, she was not willing to share. Venus was too good for any of them, for anyone really. Including herself. She was a warm glow of energy, shedding light on Amora's life, especially in her darkest hour. To be honest, she wanted to keep that glow all to herself.
Finally, when they pulled away, Amora was left almost breathless. She couldn't help but smirk a bit, "I think they have seen enough to keep themselves busy tonight." She punctuated her statement with a wink.
