hey! thank you for asking. i always love to read hilarious tags, it's never been a problem, i use them the same way. i think they're a nice option for shy people to let OP know that they like their stuff without engaging too directly. comments are even nicer ofc! :) especially now that the new update is messing everything up for creators

and this is just one of my most recent posts. i already struggle to reach a wider audience. now you're turning this even harder for small artists and creators. why should someone who reblogged my art get that much visibility? just because they wrote a comment in their reblog?

i've never been fan of this way of showing support btw. if you want the creator to know what you think of their work, you can write your thoughts in the comment section. that's why i don't like sites like x/twitter, it's one of the reasons i don't use it anymore. on tumblr i let it slide, because in a way it helped artists get more exposure. but now? why doing this? and without giving us the choice to opt out of this absurd reblog chain.

i want people to engage with my art in a meaningful way. this update is the best way to lose your artist community, tumblr.
