Sorey paused then, lost for a response. She turned to face Sorey properly, but her eyes didn’t quite meet his gaze. When he failed to answer her question, she continued.
< It is as you said, Sorey; to become an AI is to leave everything you knew behind, > Lailah said coolly. < Even if you manage to find Mikleo, will he still be the same person you knew? >

Context:
Oh, right, I missed this. But if you remember, it was said in Zestiria that Dezel was a “young wind seraph” (若き風の天族).
So if he was young, he should have been much younger than the “old” trio (Zaveid, Edna, and Lailah), who were all at least 1000 years old. Since Berseria is 1000 years before Zestiria, then Dezel couldn’t have been around during Berseria?
So, yeah. This might have referred to Lafarga or someone else. Or that they are being inconsistent here.
As promised, the summary of the soft serve skit from TOZX BD BOX bonus!
The title of the skit is 魅惑のソフトクリーム, which translates to “The Bewitching/Alluring Soft Serve” lol.
Everyone wants Mikleo’s soft serve! But Mikleo doesn’t have the flavor everyone wants (“I want grape!” “I DON’T HAVE THAT”)
He carries chocolate, vanilla, and matcha flavors for his soft serves. Sorey, of course, wants the vanilla one.
And Sorey wants to eat the soft serve only with Mikleo, so they withdraw from the others.
They eat their soft serves together, just by the two of them. Mikleo’s is matcha by the way.
Sorey thinks that Mikleo’s soft serve is, not only the best, but the very best in the entire world.
Mikleo is proud of his soft serves and so is Sorey! True boyfriends.
As if that wasn’t flirty enough, they start sharing their soft serves.
Yes they don’t just eat their own soft serves but each other’s too.
I swear I’ve heard at least three times of Sorey wanting to take a bite of Mikleo’s soft serve… the text on the pic is “Mikleo, I want one more!” (INDIRECT KISS)
Mikleo: “Alright, alright, there’s something on your cheek, let me wipe it first.”
“As I thought, I love Mikleo’s soft serve!” (This is really just another way of saying “I love Mikleo!” isn’t it?)

Bonus: it’s revealed in the end that all the bonus skits are actually just Sorey’s dream, so you could take it as a look at Sorey’s subconscious lol.

I suppose I’m gonna talk about one of the skits in Doushi no Kyuujitsu (The Shepherd’s Day Off), the bonus skit DVD included in TOZX S1 BD-BOX.
There’s a skit where the characters pick a flower each and then Lailah would do a reading on them based on the flower language.
Sorey chose dandelion, which means “God’s message” (I assume this means being the Shepherd), Alisha chose sunflower meaning “adoration”, Mikleo chose lavender meaning “grace” and “delicate/fine”, and Edna chose lily of the valley meaning “happiness will come again”.
Sorey commented how the flower language of lavender fit Mikleo (”it’s so Mikleo!”) lol and how happiness will surely reach Edna again ;v;
But what I wanna talk about is that, while “grace” and “delicate/fine” are part of what lavender means in flower language, they’re not the only meanings nor are they the first meanings.
According to this page, lavender has several meanings, which include:
「あなたを待っています」= “I’m waiting for you”
繊細 = delicate/fine
清潔 = untainted
優美 = grace
許しあう愛 = forgiving love
期待、幸せが来る = hope, happiness will come
沈黙 = silence
And ufotable only included two of them, but overall, the flower really fits Mikleo well.
